Transferring a town -how?

Understand that a town can be passed on, anybody knows how to do it?

With the laughable update many people wants to retire but would gladly give their towns to new players.

How to do this? PM if you know. Thanks.

Tell someone else your username and password. Only way I can think of.

Edit...it's actually your email instead of username. Don't know if someone would want to give that out unless they no longer use it. Although it doesn't actually matter if the email works; cause my son's town is registered to my old email. And it is no longer valid.

Thanks, but unless the email is changed I'd be able to take the town back any time and the town wouldn't be truly theirs.

Just curious anyway. Know it happens often, there are even towns sold.

Ummm, no. I think someone's been lying to you.

Each town is linked to one and only one email address. The email address is linked to one and only one Origin account. The only way to transfer the town would be to transfer the Origin account. It doesn't matter if you can change the email addy linked to your Origin account since the account will be the same ... if you've ever purchased any other games and linked them to your Origin account, you'd be transferring all of those games as well if you tried to transfer the account.

Sorry, but transferring/selling accounts is against the ToS.
