Don't worry about it. If you haven't done the "Grow carrots" task, it will clear itself up then and give you lots of money and Xp. And if you have done the carrot task, just store the farm and then replace it. The corn will be gone.

You could store the farm to get rid of it. Or, if you haven't already got up to the Carrot Planting quest at Cletus' Farm, when you get prompted for the task it will auto-complete your Corn. Then, profit!

I "unintentionally" planted corn also. Absolutely no malice aforethought. I swear it upon my hat. Shazam! Best part of the event so far. All I've managed to win otherwise, aside from decorations, are a couple of NPC animals.

Yeah, I planted corn on the first day of the event. Accidentally, 100 per cent. It was an accident.

Doh! my corn just ripened after planting less than a week ago, tee hee ;-)

If you put Cletus's Farm into your inventory box, then place it back in your town again, it will re-set it so you're not growing corn any more (or anything you happen to be growing). You don't get the money back you spent to start growing it though.
