I think you have to make sure your town is cleared of bunnies before tapping the big carrot. There is a max. capacity limit of bunnies in Springfield.

I didn't have any bunnies in my town, I had just cleared them then went to clear out handshakes

I've just started growing carrots.
Has anyone else managed to tap your carrots and did the same thing happen again?
There does seem to be one or two glitches with the Easter Update that doesn't effect all players.

I had a handshake today, but I still got bunnies. I always make sure my town is clear first. I know you guys say you do too, so it's gotta be a glitch of some sort then.

Also try using the zapper immediately after you tap the handshake, sometimes the bunnies go under the farm and you can't tell they are there.

Yes, there is a required quest line to get to carrots look at the stickies in Faqs and guides for the Easter 2014 walk thru

And plant corn before you get there. It auto-completes at the beginning of the carrot task; giving you tons of cash and xp.

I think there might be a glitch with the corn auto-finishing, too. I read that in another thread, so I planted corn, and it did not auto-finish for me when I tried to plant carrots. I tried it twice, I closed and opened the game, I reinstalled, and nothing worked. I had to store the farm. Just a heads up.

I started my corn two days before I got to the grow carrots task. As soon as I read it in another topic, I started corn.

Oh, so you get bunnies from the carrots? I usually clear the $and moneypiles + whatever is on the farm BEFORE stunning the bunnies, so I was just about to ask why on earth I should grow carrots at all?!

But thanks for the answer! I'll clear the bunnies before harvesting the carrots from now on (and guess who's on "speeding up crops"- task?

I have two questions about the carrots I'm a little confused since I've been unable to play since the 10th .

First can the carrots be used as a decoration like the roses or are they just like the other crops and disappear when you tap on them

The second one is does anyone think this should be a permanent crop even if it gives the farm two 4h crops

They'll just disappear like the other crops. And yes I'd like them to stay, even if they don't spawn bunnies anymore.

The carrots disappear and you get bunnies.

I think it should remain after the event but 2 4hour crops is kind of redundent.

Ok thanks and to be honest if the carrots were like the roses and a decoration I'd want it to be permanent but unless they changed the time on one of them it wouldn't matter to me if they did

Maybe I lack imagination but I don't know what I would do with a bunch of carrot decorations.
