Unclickable baskets?

Prev13
It was mentioned in another thread that the player owning the baskets, must have the amount is storage before the transaction can complete. The eggs are not deleted but they must be present

Some people's baskets are broken :-( I have two that are broken and two that I think (hope) are not.

They are unclickable to my neighbors and are empty to me. It doesn't matter how many eggs I have.

I placed two more and those both filled and I emptied them. I have since placed another two more, but these don't have a single egg and I'm starting to wonder if maybe they are broken too.

By way of clarifying ... When you say "it doesn't matter how many eggs" you have, are you referring to the eggs that are the opposite color from the basket? I'm not denying that you may be suffering from a glitch, but you can have as few as zero of the basket-color eggs, just so long as you have a minimum of 200 eggs of the not-basket-color eggs.

If you do have that 200, and still aren't able to receive eggs, then everything I just said is moot. Your problem lies elsewhere, and it's a glitch. Aarrgghh.

I have baskets that seem to be dysfunctional also! Other baskets get filled up but I have 2 that just remain empty, does anyone know of a fix?

I've also had this issue happen earlier today and was worried. My baskets were both almost full (2 eggs in blue and 2 eggs in pink basket) then after using the eggs I've been holding onto to get some boxes (which brought me down to under 100 of each pink and blue) i went to check my boxes again and they were empty. I'm hoping it's because i don't have any eggs and not a glitch.

I clicked on my basket and it's gone. If I known that, I wouldn't have clicked it. It's so easy to click things. There was no pop up or anything. I'm not spending anymore donuts to get another either.

It appears 4 of my baskets have glitched. I had 2 blue (1 with 2 eggs, other with 1) and 2 pink baskets (Same, 2-1) Then my baskets went empty. I visited my Springfield with my son's account and my baskets are now unclickable.

Not everyone wants to give you eggs therefore it's not broken.
You have to have 100 eggs to trade for 50 of the other color, if not the egg switch above the basket won't be there. Not broken.
If there are 4 eggs in the basket it is full and you can't put anymore in it. Not broken.
When you get 4 eggs in your basket and collect it, it's gone forever. Not a glich or broken just sucks!

So one of my neighbors had pink baskets out for days, and a little message asking for pink eggs. Pink is my common color and she's a good neighbor, so I wanted to leave eggs, but I couldn't. She had blue, I had pink, it should have worked.
In her town today she had four new pink baskets, all of which had the little swap symbol over them, so I was finally able to give her eggs!

BUT, this is the important part: there were still baskets sitting nearby that did not have the symbol or any eggs in them. Some of them worked just perfectly, which means those initial baskets she had were, in fact, broken.

Really? I thought they were deleted. I asked it in other thread but nobody answers.
    Good to know that!

They are not deleted, and I'm not convinced they need to be present, either.

It has nothing to do with that.

    The baskets are broken.
It's amazing how different people's experiences can be with the same game. I would go as far as to say that 50% of the baskets I came in contact with in the past day have been this way.

You put a basket out and when a friend visits your town there is no icon to give you eggs.
That's why people are complaining about it being glitched or broken. They have no eggs in them and they are not able to receive eggs.
I currently have one like this. My fiance put out 4 baskets yesterday and 3 will not allow you to drop eggs (again even though there are no eggs in the basket) and as I said, roughly half the baskets I've seen are also like this - Empty with no icon to leave eggs. I've seen as many as 4 such baskets in a single town.

It sucks, but I'm just happy I didn't spend doughnuts on them.
I may even have a new issue too, as the latest basket I placed had an egg in it as soon as I put it out. I'm talking the exact moment, so I'm not sure a friend could have possibly done it.....I have to wait until someone gets home though to have them check if that one is busted, glitched, whatever, as well.

Thanks! I haven't used my blue baskets because it's my common colour but now I'm going to use all of them so my neighbours will be able to get pink eggs.

yes these baskets are in fact broken
to the people who are saying they are not. you are not very smart and should do more research

    here is what is happening

whether by a hack or a glitch it seems eggs are dissapearing from full baskets. not sure how

or there is another reason you can have a basket that is half full or almost full and then the eggs dissapear not sure

after eggs dissapear from your basket it will not enable you to get it filled again

    rendering that basket now unuseable

i have found evidence of this all over the forum

not sure why the baskets are going empty for sure but the after affect is clear

i recently came into alot of money and after playing freemium for ever i now have a * ton of donuts and bought a * ton of eggs. i have unlocked everything for the event and now have about 10 baskets. some broken some not.
i have way too many blue eggs left so for that reason nobody is really filling up my baskets and that is fine. i dont want them to. i tried to hide most of them so people get the hint. now im just going around filling up peoples baskets with blue eggs to help them out.

for the idiots i mentioned earlier
before you take the time to post what you are attempting to be seen as a fact about something being glitched or not. simply do some research on the forum and read some post by people who are actually experiencing these issues and who obviously posses more attention to detail than you do.

They are not deleted, and I'm not convinced they need to be present, either.

I'm convinced they do need to be present. I've tested with several (10) feeders, and the result is always the same.

Town "A" has blue basket and 160 pink eggs.
Town "B" can only drop 300.
Town "A" can't collect the 300 (basket not full)

If Town "A" is dumb enough (don't ask) to spend some of the 160 eggs, it needs to build all the way back up to 200 pinks before it can receive the final 100 eggs from Town "B" so the 400 can be collected.

    (Way to go, Town "A".)

Seriously, I swap a lot back and forth, and this is how it works. :(

Yup I can confirm it's a glitch too, I had enough of each colour eggs, 3 baskets, 2 unusable and 1 was half filled, visited my town on my sister's account and she could drop eggs into one of the baskets with the other 2 not being active. She had enough eggs too and all baskets were pink.

Anyone saying it's not a glitch is an idiot.

You're more than welcome to add me to try, just pm

Really? Huh! I never seemed to have issues getting my common-color baskets filled, so I thought it was no problem. Thanks for the info :)

But does Town A lose the pink eggs to collect the blue ones?
