What are kindle coins? I have a kindle fire, but don't really play games on it.

Kindle coins are just the Amazon digital currency, like an iTunes gift card. You can buy Kindle books, songs, apps, or in-app purchases with them. They are worth 1 cent per coin, so 2,000 coins is worth $20.

According to the OP, it sounds like there's a 50% bonus right now when you spend them. I wonder how long this will last (or whether it's already gone).

I just did this last night so hopefully it's still available. The Amazon coins are now available for Android users too but I'm not sure how that works as I only use them with my Kindle.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to see how many games I can log in to on my kindle just for in-game purchases. I think I would still rather play them on my ipad.
