I'm lucky if I can open 1 box a day and that is with putting everyone that can be on egg tasks on them. I made the worst mistake and spent 50 doughnuts on 4550 pink eggs. Now while it did give me over 9 boxes and a few of them were gold eggs, I didn't get one worthy prize. Fences and an easter gate.
Word to the wise, don't waste your doughnuts.
I have resigned to the fact that there is no way to clear the prize list and I am not going to try anymore.
1 a day would be a nice average :twisted: Then I go and click the wrong easter trade basket by "accident", I swear I didn't touch it :evil: and lose my next spin.
Now that I have finished the Easter quest I can no longer get 250 eggs from those tasks and now it's harder for me to get enough common eggs to swap for uncommon eggs. This event blows and what puts the icing on the cake is the untappable glitched out baskets.
I barely get boxes, since I completed all the pink box prizes (pink is my common colour) I don't get much blue. The only way I can get it is by other friends baskets, sadly fifty isn't enough
Visiting friends every day, zapping bunnies every hour and placing free baskets (receiving 4-5 a day).

I visit all 100 neighbours daily, and hardly get much for that enormous chunk of time wasted, and tap my bunnies, albeit not hourly.....I do have other things to do..... :-o
I wish they had a "bunny bomb" or something that would clear the screen in the same vein as Halloween.
And I haven't received nary a basket since EA "fixed" that issue.

I was able to open 11 pink boxes and 4 gold ones subsequently..........with pastel fences and an easter gate.
I get 1-2 boxes a day since I completed the quest. That is visting all neighbors, setting tasks and growing carrots. There is no way to grind out more in this event.
I was hoping to get around 80 total blue/pink by the end of the event but now that I can't get any more baskets until I win the fab egg. I've lowered that expectation to 50 total by EoE.
I genuinely thought that once the event kicked into gear we would see an increase in eggs across the board. After all it was designed this way. Most people would look to get their common colour out the way and then trade meaning in the first few weeks everyone had 100 eggs then when done they would trade those for 50 but that would put 150 eggs into distribution meaning a 50% increase in the amount of eggs around. I thought this would more than make up for the loss of the task completions.
However the fact that very few people are getting basket drops after the update/end of the quest means this isn't happening. I imagine EA want more people to buy baskets rather than get them, but this drop off where there are far fewer baskets at the moment when people are starting to trade in their most to all their common colour is a bit of poor form.

Well I guess it's good to know it's not just me, but it's very discouraging to realize this is all I will get. I played a lot yesterday and got exactly 1003 of my common egg for 2 boxes. I got fences and 100 gold eggs. At this rate I don't even have a chance to get anymore decent prizes. It's really discouraging. Especially after reading all the was given away for Whacking Day just for playing a lot.

The way I figure it you need around 60,000 combined pink/blue total eggs just to have the 1st chance at a prize like Shari. Without any free baskets I'll only be earning 25,000 if I continue playing a lot. But as this event goes on I lose a little more interest in the game each day because it seems EA is screwing us at every turn.
Since I finished the questline I've gotten no baskets, no Faberg? egg, and one box per day. It was bad enough when I was getting three boxes a day. Makes me want to throw eggs at EA.
Yep, now I've finished the quest line, I'm only getting one or two boxes a day. I haven't received any baskets from bunnies since the update, plus, a fair chunk of my neighbours appear to have given up on the event and there are no eggs to collect when visiting.
The only decent prizes I need now though are Father Sean and Ms Bobbins, oh and I'd really like the Faberg? Egg too.
I was getting 2 common egg boxes a day. I have the 2 good prizes out of that now so convert all my blue to pink which means one box a day. Although i go an egg exchange with one player (they need ble and i need pink) so we fill each others baskets. So when i have a basket i can get 2 boxes a day still on my uncommon eggs.
2 boxes a day, 3 if the pink & blue only give me gold eggs & then I open a gold.
I visit 100 neighbors, keep folks on egg tasks, grow carrots, and clear the town frequently. It's a tedious, disappointing grind, especially when I end up with nothing but gates and egg piles. I can't even complete the fences quest because I'm not winning enough of them!

Ready to break down and buy the Fab egg. Only reason I haven't is because I believe my luck has to change soon.
