Thanks for the kind comments x It's still got a little work to go, and I'm still going to attempt to get Lisa and Homer skating on it. I was puzzling over what to do with my old football (soccer) stadium, then Christmas comes along at just the right time

My favourite bit is the coffee shop, ready to warm people up with a nice hot drink.

I think most of my town will develop into themed areas like this eventually.

I'll probably get around to building one myself.

At the rate that they are negotiating, I might try to get some of the locked out NHLers to play there! (Stupid greedy owners, grumble, grumble....)

Thanks. The news van in the parking lot was someone else's idea from the forum that I borrowed. Can't remember who or where otherwise I'd post a link.

(we have indoor ice-rinks by the way that operate all year 'round, hence my surprise)
