This has happened to me as well and others on the forum. I have also been put into some random town I didn't know, using the next neighbor arrow, so I helped him/her out. Nothing we can do about it.

Could it be possible that one of your neighbor's changed their username. I've been playing for a long time now, and I seem to remember something about old usernames showing up occasionally when visiting neighbors. :?
