Better Freemium game than TSTO

Prev13
I wouldn't necessarily call being frustrated after winning your 10th (or more) set of fences from the gold box "entitlement."

Granted, some people's frustrations run deeper than others, but how about instead of yet another thread complaining about the complaining, try extending some compassion for those who have had horrible, rotten luck.

Family guy is the game. And the gripe is if you play every day and do the neighbors thing you should have a fair chance to receive
most items. I have 4 sf's I've only got the winged bunny and hugs.

Exactly, and we're just as tired of seeing you complain about the complaints as you are of reading them, so try this - don't read them!

And BTW I'm not looking for a new freemuim game, I like this one - the only complaint I've ever had is about this event because it's chance based not grind based! That's all I've ever said, the rest of the game is great!

THIS.. honestly it's like some of these people have a gun to their head with someone saying read the complaint thread please.

simple solution don't open the complaint threads or if you do use your mouse and press that back button.

Getting really tired of all the complaint threads that seem to boil down to a level of entitlement and greed, whether it be because you bought donuts and expected to insta-get the prizes. Or that you got something, but it wasn't the very best prizes (especially when there's still time left on the event).

So rather than post yet another complaint thread wailing on about how terrible this event is, or how we should have had more land in the latest level update, how about you tell me of a game that offers you more on a Freemium level than this one.

Maybe if people actually got some perspective they wouldn't be so demanding.

The problem is the game isn't freemium if you're buying donuts, so people buying donuts should be demanding, considering they are paying for freemium players to get stuff for free, if you pay you should be able to have everything and it shouldn't be luck based.

I love the freemium game called kick the can. You find a can on the street and kick it. If you want to switch to premium you go to the store, buy a coke, drink it, then kick that can. No donuts, no grinding....it's awesome! available on all operating systems.

I don't believe people are out of line for complaining when the game fails to perform as it is designed to do. This is the exactly the right place to complain as EA customer service directs people, myself included, here rather than fixing their problems. I do believe that being told Easter prizes are available to all players only to find out there is a 0% chance of getting certain prizes before opening 20 gold boxes with most freemium players reporting opening 6 - 8 at this point and no freemium player saying they were able to do 20 means EA blatently lied about availability. I grant some people manage frustration better than others, but a tendency to rant does not make people wrong to complain or to use this forum to do so. As for good game suggestions I am partial to Wordament and my husband favors Tiny Little Death Star both of which we also play for free.

Lol, that's what I don't get, they see the title of the thread but yet still feel entitled to have a say, by all means do, but be aware YOU entered that particular thread. It's happened to me when I posted a tupac thread. People would come in there just to hate on Pac and my post. Why? All I can say is, there must not be much going on if that's all they have to worry about.

I tried that but my can went down a drain, and when I complained about losing it I got told off for complaining

No, you shouldn't. It's clearly laid out what you get if you spend donuts. Premium characters/buildings and event currency. You receive Premium characters/buildings and event currency. Beyond that, you have nothing more to complain about than a Freemium player.

    Edit. Already off track here.

I'm waiting for more examples than just the Family Guy game, which on the town design itself is way behind TSTO.

Yeah that's the internet all over! You see an article about, say Kim Kardashian for example, and it's full of comments saying "who the hell is Kim Kardashian?" "What do I care if this person has had a baby" etc etc. and you think - well you're the one who clicked on the article and read it, no one forced you to!

I second this! For every complaint thread someone else opens a "complaint about complaints" thread.
Wont be long before we have a complaint about a complaint on a complain thread!

A lot of people think this event is horrible, so just let them think that. Can you really blame anyone for complaining after they received their 24th egg pile or their 52nd pastel picket fence? People are entitled to their positive "I found my Faberge egg! Woohoo!" threads too, just like the complaint threads.

    Back on topic:

I dont know if it's a better game or not ( don't really care either, there are a lot of nice games around, all different ) but i had a lot fun with the Smurfs' viallge game before i switched to TSTO.
It wasnt possible to transfer a village from one android phone or tablet to another so i stopped playing when i bought a new phone. But the game itself was pretty nice. Nice gameplay, frequent updates.

Jurassic Park is good so is Ice Age Village. Ice age village gives out plenty of premium currency for free and you can earn it playing games that are free to play. I used to love TSTO until they brought in the awful chance updates. Still like the level ups at the moment but I don't think I'll bother playing the events anymore if they continue along this line. I've gone from 'maybe I'll buy some donuts' to 'I'll never waste money on this game'.
I love my computer...all my friends live in it

Why ? Because you say so ?
If you're a paying customer, you should get more than a none paying customer ( who isn't a customer at all) paying for chances is pathetic, and paying customers who pay for the game should get whatever content they want because they are paying for it and paying to keep the game going for freemium players to get a chance at getting stuff for free.

That's what most people would do, but kingmob31838 desperately craves attention. With the time he spends complaining about complaints on the forums that he voluntarily reads, he could be halfway done with a new freemium game by now.
