Indeed, and when the event actually kicked off, I had more then enough donuts saved up to get Crazy Cat Lady. I just wish more people were as optimistic about this event.

After around 12 days of no Faberge egg, or baskets late last night as I was doing my rounds I finally came across the egg!!! I was so stoked to finally get the damn thing so I can resume receiving my baskets.

Then it was my time to spin the wheel, and I got Jonny Fiestas along with more fences which means I reached the 50 fences goal, and received my 15 donuts! As a freemium player it was a big deal. Now all I need is Father Sean, and Sherry and I've completed the Easter event. Just goes to show that patience pays off, and it is possible for us freemium players to complete this event. :D
Congratulations! Bonus points for being freemium. I play premium, and I'm still missing those two, and a topiary as well. Here's to hoping for both of us.

Yes I'm ecstatic at this point, although I am keeping a lot of the decorations etc. in my storage as I see no need for them. Good luck to you my friend!

Don't hold your breath...I've had the egg for about 10 days and I've received my 15 donut prize for the fences. I get plenty of baskets, but have nothing else to show for it. If they gave 15 donuts for every 50 fence pieces, I'd be well on my way to collecting a second round.

I've gone in circles with blue eggs (common), exchanged for pink eggs that win gold eggs, only to "win" 250 pink (or worse, blue) eggs. I've lost count on the number of gold boxes I've opened, but I understand Hugs Bunny and Shari are guaranteed at #80 and 81. I doubt I'm that far along, and probably won't make it by the end of the event, despite having purchased the truckload of eggs early on. At this point, I really don't care...

Yeah, but look what you said..."all" you have left is Father Sean and Sherry Bobbins, the two rarest prizes in the whole event. How many gold boxes have you opened? Supposedly you can't even hope to get Sherry until you've opened 20 of them...I've gotten 11 at the moment, and have enough uncommon eggs to open 6 of those boxes, so I'll likely have 1-2 more disappointing golds in the near future...

Don't get me wrong, I know I'll probably never get Father Sean, or Sherry Bobbins but I'm just glad that I made it as far as I did I. I think I've opened around 10 gold boxes throughout the whole event.

I think unlocking is all boxes, but the guarantees are color specific. Like so:

Chirpy boy and Bart Jr are guaranteed at 80 pink boxes. (Always available to win.)
Blocko store becomes available after twelve boxes total are opened. It's guaranteed at 81 pink boxes.

The egg council guy is guaranteed at 80 blue boxes. (Always available to win.)
Johnny Fiestas becomes available after twelve boxes total are opened. It's guaranteed at 81 blue boxes.

Banana Dictatorship is guaranteed at 15 gold boxes. (Always available to win.)
Bunny #24601 is guaranteed at 20 gold boxes. (Always available to win.)
Father Sean is guaranteed at 50 gold boxes. (Always available to win.)
Shary Bobbins becomes available after 20 boxes total are opened. She is guaranteed at 80 gold boxes.
Hugs Bunny is guaranteed at 81 gold boxes. (Always available to win.)

I've deduced this from the players who have posted that they either got Shary (for example) before opening 20 gold boxes (but after opening at least 20 boxes total) or that they received her in exactly the 80th gold box they opened.
So, it's technically possible to get everything as a freemium player, it's just far from guaranteed.

Yes, it is POSSIBLE, but it is not PROBABLE. I (like many many other freemium players) have been grinding and grinding away at this event from the start, and have little to show for it. I don't have father Sean or sherry either, nor do I have the kang topiary, or the egg council guy, or Johnny fiestas, or chirpy boy and Bart jr, or the blocko store. I'm also only at 33 fences, and at this point, highly unlikely to even win the suck out donut prize. From the beginning of this event, I have been logging on at least once every two hours (between 9am and 1am daily), to clear all bunnies, grow carrots, send characters on egg earning tasks, and visit all 100 friends. I work 60 hours per week, so my work suffers to some extent, and my boyfriend has also been pretty vocal about wishing I'd play tapped out less lately, too. Despite all that effort on my part, it feels like I have very little to show for it in terms of easter prizes.

I dunno, something about the wording of your post "patience pays off..." I find extremely frustrating. Because I've been putting forth so much effort, and I have been patient, and, well, where is my pay off? Just because YOU got lucky doesn't mean anyone else will.

    Congratulations.

Have to agree, I'm quite happy. Have been grinding for days for uncommon eggs, just getting ponds and trees and finally picked up Jonny Fiestas. There's still a fair few prizes left to me, but I've got two new buildings and a new character so not bad.

Not saying the events not annoyingly bad in places but it's not been a disaster for me.

I posted this as a positive thing, and I'm sorry that my wording made you frustrated. All I'm saying is after the countless posts I saw about all the negative things about this event I thought I'd show a better side to it. Yes it's my own experience, and I'm sorry that you haven't had the same luck as I did.

I'm in a similar boat :-) I also only have Father Sean and Sherry Bobbins left and I am a freemium player. I really wanted the buildings and so while I would like the characters, I'm really happy with what I've received so far :-)

Yay I'm happy for you. I'm quite content with what I have and if I do somehow get the last two characters I need, that'll be an extra bonus. :D

This is a measure of where I could be IF EA didn't have the basket glitch in the beginning.
I'm atleast a week behind due to their inability to release a glitch free game.
