MrX probably logged on to one of your neighbor's towns, actually. I don't think you get a visitor notification if you/someone else logs in to your own town.

But yes, the issue is a massive concern, no matter whose town it is, because it shouldn't be happening.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but I as I cleared handshakes yesterday I got the name of my son in law, not his Origin ID but his given name, first and last. I only recognized the name because I know him. So maybe that is what happened, someone's regular name and not Origin ID?

About once a week I still get handshakes from someone I unfriended several months ago. Very strange.

I've been getting push notifications that two different Mr. X's are visiting my Springfield. Several times a week. Interesting in and of itself, since I have push notifications turned off. Made more interesting still by the fact I've never had neighbors by either of these names. I usually do not log out of my town, so I know that can't be it, and when I tap handshakes neither of those names come up. So far, nothing has gotten messed up in my town, so I figure no harm no foul. If you're worried about it, by all means try to contact EA. Here's to hoping they don't give you the "We're aware of the issue and are working on it" crap. I hope this at least somewhat sets your mind at ease.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions, everyone. I think I will flag it with EA in case the worst case scenario does occur and I find my town has been sold :evil:

Hey Neuroheart, how are you?

The notifications say something to the effect that "MrX has visited your town." When I get these from my neighbours, I find my buildings have been tapped by them, so I think it does refer to someone actually visiting my town.
