The Center for Disease Control has issued an advisory pertaining to an increased instance of Post Traumatic Tapped Out Easter Disorder or PTTOED amongst Electronic Arts customers. If you or a loved one are currently, or have been a customer of Electronic Arts within the last three weeks, and play The Simpsons Tapped Out, and have experienced some or all of the following symptoms, you may have PTTOED.
Symptoms may include but are not limited to the following:
-Insatiable need to acquire Easter eggs. Even if it means buying and coloring them yourself.
-Urges to electrocute small furry animals outside the game in the hopes that Easter eggs pop out.
-The urge to open boxes , even boxes outside the game.
-Despondancy over contents of a box, once opened, and the realization hits that once again, you got crap.
-Inability to open boxes.
-Sudden fixation with acquiring and placing baskets.
-Inability to acquire baskets.
-Delusions of going to Good Will and purchasing baskets in the futile hope that someone will put Easter Eggs in them.
-Inability to fill other's baskets.
-Vivid dreams of the Faberg? Egg.
-Two or more consecutive days searching for the Faberg? Egg.
-Inability to visit neighbors and friends.
-Thoughts of hopelessness.
-The sudden NEED to shout "Better them than me!"
-Sudden onset of rage when presented with the Bart screen.
-Urge to spend pink sprinklies on the TSTO Easter event, even knowing that spending pink sprinklies won't increase your chances of completing the event.
-Urge to destroy expensive mobile devices.
PTTOED IS TERMINAL. THERE IS NO CURE
Although no cure has yet been found, symptoms of PTTOED can be managed by limiting the use of pink sprinklies and posting "RAGE" posts on the EA forum.
If you think you or a loved one may have contracted PTTOED, you're screwed.
This has been a public service announcement from the Center for Disease Control.
I LOL'D! Well thought out, well written, and hi-larious! Bravo! *Applauds*

Yes, yes I do!!! I think we are all suffering from this, did u get this off EA's main site?
No, but it should be!
In all seriousness though, I felt kinda bad for my earlier rage post. It's really not who I am. The rage just kinda came out while I was typing and wouldn't stop. Don't get me wrong, I'm still really miffed at EA right now, but I'm over the initial fury.
To make amends I just thought I'd try to lighten things up a bit around here since its been so dismal lately. Some how, poking fun at my own misery makes me feel a whole lot better.

Ah well, at least it isn't as bad as that cloud that turns people inside out.
I'm pretty sure I have this disorder but since the Easter event hasn't ended yet, I don't believe I've experienced the full range of symptoms. This very well may be the final stage of the disorder.
That shrieking sound you hear in the distance is my husband the Art History teacher, after seeing that I have defaced yet another masterpiece with cartoon bubbles.
He better get prepared for more ... I haven't even touched the Northern Renaissance yet.
USA/UK Race To Throw Country Into Utter Chaos = TOO CLOSE TO CALL

However there may be lasting side effects.
