These outages were why I quit playing this game soon after it was released. I'm beyond frustrated having just returned to it last week and now experiencing day after day of it being down for hours on end. I finally went to the app store and left feedback today. I don't know how else to let our voices be heard.
I am glad I've not bought any donuts and I refuse to do so until the game is much more stable.
OHIO: origin servers back up...harvested and sent everyone on long tasks. granted it crashed a couple of times so its not 100% but it did show my friends.

I did that yesterday. Since EA clearly doesn't care enough to listen to the countless people telling them their problems, figured that the next best thing was to bring this to the attention of the App Store and warn other potential users. I was honest, said that the game is fun and awesome when it works. However, that I didn't feel that it was ready to be released and that it was rushed to try and take advantage of the holiday season to make money.
So I didn't give it a 1 star rating because I do love this game....when it works.
Nope. Not since 10 this morning and I left the house at 7. Seeing how over a 3 hour period I didn't get a single hand shake out of 60 friends? I'd venture to guess that the problem has been going on for some for awhile now.

Exactly! I didn't give 1 star, but I did only give 2 stars. If the stability improves I'll be more than happy to give them a 5 star review based on playability.
Kinda lame. I have to go to work in a bit so this is likely the only chance I would get to collect the Santa coins from my friends Springfields. On the other hand, at least the actual game is still playable. I've been playing since early November and this is the first problem I've really had. I guess I've been fortunate.
