how did you play the easter event

I've gotten everything but Shary, Sean and 1 topiary. I considered buying some gold eggs but at this point with all the stories I've heard I don't think it's worth it. I'll be very surprised if I'm able to complete the event by the end.

I haven't used any donuts and I don't think your chances are too much better if you do so.. =\

I have all the unique prizes barring hugs bunny and Shari bobbins. Will keep collecting and going for gold spins but extra characters for me are not nearly as important as extra buildings.

Hitting the 50 fence booby prize allowed me to buy a truckload of uncommon eggs and that gave me enough gold eggs to win the Banana Dictatorship and 3rd spin in, the only prize I really wanted - the Blocko Store.

I do feel for those people that have sunk many donuts into this multi-wheel spin machine of doom event. Fingers crossed we don't see its like again

I spent some donuts before I realized what a ripoff this event was:

36 to speed up the first 24hrs (that's something I always do. I am far to impatient and I like to have a head start)
75 for the MKII
100 for 5 baskets of each colour. I bought them after my neighbours could not tap anything in my town for three days while I was in hospital. I am still surprised and grateful that not a single one has deleted me. So the baskets were a way of saying tank you.
10 for a single box when Homer told me to open one as part of the questline. Once more I was not patient enough to wait.

221 donuts all in all.

That's it. I kind of regret the 75 for the MKII, but it's a cool looking decoration that looks great next to Frink's laboratory.

I kinda regret too. I just bought boxes with mine before they released gold eggs. Hope they give everyone like 3 gold chances with the faberge egg included

I spent donuts on the egg generator as I thought as well as helping it would look good in my town after the event. I haven't spent any on eggs. I am only missing kang topiary, father Sean and shary bobbins. I doubt I will get any of them before event ends either.

Haven't used any. I'm only missing the egg council guy (stopped opening blue boxes as soon as I got JF), Father Sean, Shary Bobbins, and I think Kodos.

Haven't used any donuts on the event and was lucky enough to get the two prizes I really wanted (Blocko and Johnny Fiestas). Don't really care about any of the character prizes, but I got Hugs Bunny.

I just got Johnny Fiestas this morning, was really worried that I wasn't gonna get it after only going after my uncommon egg color for so long to get the Blocko store.

:oops: Oops, I spent a truckload and managed to get everything, I also have around 150 Easter fences, 20 Easter gates, 35 pastel fences, 19 ponds, 6 kudos and 5 kang topiaries. That doesn't include all the above items that I used in my town. I'm feeling buyers remorse now though as I've contributed to getting more of these horrid events.

Anybody who is my neighbour who needs eggs and has baskets out PM when you've got them out and I'll fill em up for you

I haven't spent any donuts and all I'm missing is the lizards, kang topiary, and shary. And I need 5 more fences for the quest. I think I did pretty well.

I really wish I bought the egg fabricators early in the event cause 2 MK2 probably would have completed the event. I wondering how many people got the 15 donuts from having 75? fences. Now playing this event for a month and getting 15 donuts is pretty pathetic.

Spent a few donuts to speed things up on one task but that was due to IRL needing total focus for a few hours. Everything else has been normal visits and zapping.

You've done the right thing. I've spent over 200 donuts and the only premium thing I got was Bunny #24601. All the good stuff I got was obtained without the use of donuts. I wish that I had not played this event as a premium player. I regret spending my money. I could have bought something good, instead I just burned my money.

I spent over 200 donuts and am missing pretty much the exact same things, except I'm missing Hugs Bunny instead of Father Sean. That's proof positive that the donuts do not give you an edge. All the good things I won were won with free eggs (minus Bunny #24601).

Haven't used any doughnuts, and haven't been inclined to. I have the Banana Republic, Blocko Store, Bunny #24601. Still hoping to get Johnny Fiestas.

I only have 31 of the 50 fences I need for the bonus, but I've picked up nearly 60 doughnuts since the event started so that really doesn't bother me. :-)

Edit-forgot I also have the lizards

I spent 200 donuts on eggs, but I also got everything so I don't regret it.

Bought the MKII but that's it. I might have used doughnuts to open more if the odds had been better. I really think my days of playing this game are numbered. This event has been insulting. I'm still missing Hugs Bunny, Shary Bobbins, the lizards and the Kodos topiary. I can no longer be bothered to try to get them

No point spending donuts on chance. Characters should have been available for donuts individually
