Easter was disappointing

I'm with you! I got Johnny Fiestas like 2 minutes before it was over, but I missed out on all the characters. I kept getting trees and beach towels, it sucked.

I agree wholeheartedly. The chances of winning prizes for this update were horrible. I missed out on alot of the big prizes because EA rigged the game to give me the same lane decorative prizes instead.

I just want to complain for a minute. Those of us who were unlucky enough to get mostly pink eggs kinda got screwed. The pink box golden egg prize was 100 eggs, while the blue box prize was 300. Also I got like two baskets total. I ended up missing out on Sherry Bobbins, Father Sean, Egg Council Guy, Chirpy Boy and Bart Junior, and Johnny Fiestas, and I played multiple times a day to get as many eggs as I could without spending real money. My husband, who had mostly blue eggs, only missed out on Father Sean and got everything else. It just kinda sucks.

    Ok I'm done *.

As a blue player, I did not have any advantage. MY blue box had 100 gold eggs, and the Pink box had 300 gold eggs. The entire event was luck based, so obviously your husband was luckier than you. He had no advantage.

Agreed that it was a terrible event. A TON of effort to keep collecting eggs, the anti-joy of finally getting an uncommon spin to get enough gold eggs for a gold spin to get... 250 uncommon eggs... Um thanks?

If you're going to make stuff essentially $/donut only, then do so. Don't pretend that I might have a chance at something good and then dump multi coloured picket fences on me ad nauseum. Just makes me dislike the game and ensure I won't spend money on it.

And to have it go for so long with so much effort and be able to get so few of the rewards... not pleased.

I fully agree, played a lot and the result is 1 character and 1 building. The rest fences, trees, ponds and beach stuff.

Chances to get the good stuff was way to low. I hoped they would have seen this before.

It was a lot of work for nearly nothing :(

Yes this event and xmas were nasty..
The amount of time and effort required to get the eggs was a joke.

I really wanted the blocko building and missed out.
Ive spent hundreds of dollars on this game and i will not bother getting any more premium items.

I could not agree more. This Easter update was awful. I played the game often and earned hundreds of eggs, but the only decent prizes I got was the Banana Dictatorship and Blocko store. I now have a bunch of ponds, fences and other worthless items taking up space in my inventory.

Totally agree. 43 fences. 6 Easter egg piles, 5 ponds and four beach towels, all pointless. The random drop mechanic of the baskets - I had all pink baskets drop when all but one of my friends had blue as their common colour - on top of the random box spins. It was a very frustrating special event. All designed to get people to spend money, nothing for the people who like the game but can't afford to spend however much on donuts to get the premium items.

I agree it was the most annoying and the most frustrating. But it did have a lot of good prizes. The Blocko store is my favorite and I do feel for those who didn't get it.......but if you had plenty of friends and plugged away all the people I know who play got most stuff. I only missed out on Sherrie My better half missed her and Sean. I did use 50donuts on some gold eggs but that only gained me chirpy boy.

Whacking Day last year frustrated me because I wasn't able to get the Sleazy Motel. Judging from the towns I visit, not many others did either. Christmas was also frustrating as I couldn't get Helter Shelter.

Easter beat both of these. I was able to get a couple of the buildings, but missed out on a lot of other things. I couldn't even get all 50 fences.

I've been playing the game since it came out, and these are the only 3 events I couldn't finish.

This was me EXACTLY! I got Banana Dictatorship almost immediately, and the Blocko store with mere hours left in the event. Didn't make it to the fence donut goal, didn't get the Faberge egg, and didn't get any characters from the gold box. Bummed out by the entire thing!

I'm very disappointed in this update I play all day every day and all I got was the blocko store and banana dictatorship, I couldn't reach the 50 fence limit for the donuts didn't get any of the characters it was a waste of time and space on my devices, I'm hoping EA reads these forums and does something about it on the next update, I'm quite upset!!!!!! But if you are a daily player send me a friend request always looking for new neighbors lol screenname= dacanes2004

While I do agree with you that the event was a disappointment, you should know that every player could have either the blue or pink eggs as the default common one. This also means that the 300 gold payout is the other color of eggs you get the most of.

That said, I played like a madman, tapping friends like crazy AND swapping out eggs with friends strategically and I didn't get 1 single premium or so (only that ugly tower of Pisa thing). NO father Sean :( (I did win him in my 2nd feeder town for crying out loud), NO Blocko store, just too few fences to not even being able complete the sucking out quest. Pure torture.

It was horrible. And I'm looking forward to the stonecutter event that just started, it looks promising!

Oh yeah, well at least I got the Faberg? egg last minute. Which meant up until I got the egg there would be no Easter baskets dropping from tapping bunnies, so no way to swap useless eggs for nice ones...

I just gave up half way through. No sense in putting in all the effort if your rewards are completely random. You could work hard and do everything right and still just end up with junk. I hated that about Christmas and Valentine's too. Last year's Christmas was much better, when the coins you collected were pretty much another currency and you could choose which prize you wanted first. Because not every prize appeals to everyone equally.

This new stonecutters thing looks interesting though. May actually stick around for a while this time.

Yeah, Easter was stupid and so were the last few events where spinning the wheel was necessary. I don't know who thought by chance was worth anything but it wasn't because no matter how much I spun I got crappy prizes. I just gave up after a while. I literally have nothing but those ugly decorations that were better off as limited time purchases.

Easter sucked. No F-egg, no characters with quests. No blocko store. No Fiesta building. I got crap while Premium users got all and complained about freemium users complaining so much.

Agreed. I caught myself barely playing Tapped out anymore when Easter event was over. I was seriously thinking of quitting the game if the next event was the same as Easter... Luckily they didn't, the Stonecutters saved me...
