The tasks are removed from characters task list once you update. Unless the characters were doing them before you updated. (but they should be removed from their task list once they've finished) I still have Moe hunting bunnies in my town. And the tasks payout cash.

I never collected on their tasks, and I still have Moe and Ralph doing theirs. Going to ride this one out as long as I can. EA should make those permanent, or at least some variation of, with the same animation. I wonder if we all posted and bumped enough, if it would happen. It seems to have worked for other things, like the CCL, and Cool Lisa.

I'm considering just not collecting the thumbs up on Ralph until he's required for something. Neighbors won't be able to see it, unfortunately, but I can still watch him collect that egg, surrounded by all the egg piles that are otherwise useless decorations.

What a great idea with the egg piles! Next time I'm visiting your town, I'll look at the egg piles and imagine Ralph there.

SO -

i have Moe on his hunt task. and I have Ralph on his egg task. These animations are hilarious.
Will they disappear from the task choices? COULD I just leave them in task - semi-indefinitely?

It worked out that way after last thanks-giving which where the same tasks/animation for ned and moe. As I never completed thanks-giving on one of my feeder towns, I was allowed to send them both, (along with Homer), to hunt turkeys every day until the Easter update. Hopefully this'll still be possible although I have a feeling it may not be so. fingers crossed...

lol.... didnt everybody try that to get something done about the Easter update?? lol... Though saying that, it did seem to work for marge and Homers joint Valentines romantic stroll quest :-)
