ANOTHER New Update STILL LAGS!

I envy you laggers, i can't even log in. I've been in my town twice in the last couple days and those visits lasted about a minute before crashing.

This is the first time a bug has irritated me enough to post about it. Same significant lag that everyone else is suffering through. For me, on both iPhone 4s and Kindle Fire, and both in my Springfield and when I visit Friends. I submitted a case to EA, in the hope that adding to their list of specific cases will help to motivate a fix.

My game is still lagging and crashing too.....what is taking them so long? It shouldn't be that hard to go back to an old configuration? It worked perfectly well before.... (ok, I admit I'm not a game programmer, but still!) :thumbdown:

The latest update has not fixed the lag issues in friends towns.

It seems to be in towns who were maxed out with friends points that the issue lies.

So what's with the lagging? Unplayable. Ipad air . This game has so much down time it is a true farce.

Yep, same here..... Got another up-date today. Dose not crash as often but still lags. Playing on a Nexus 7. Have tried deleting all files and re-installing.... same. Need a fix as it's becoming not a lot of fun to play.

My own game didn't lag that much anymore (just a tiny bit), it was especially in friends towns. And now, since the last update, the lag game back crushing into my own game as well.

I don't even want to play this game anymore because of the lag. It was working fine during the Easter event and now it just sucks. I can't even scroll through my inventory.

It lags for me too, although the latest update (not the one before) seems to have greatly improved it.

I am on a pretty fast device too: Nexus 5 on Android 4.4.2. If mine lags I can't imagine what slower devices experience.

The latest update improved things A LITTLE. The game still lags on my iPad 3. It does not seem to lag on my iPhone 5, but I tend not to play it on the small screen with the battery drain. I find it very difficult to play on the iPad at the moment. I have a very large Springfield, but I don't see how that should make a difference, as I added very little content recently since the Easter update, and it works on another device. I am still hoping that EA can do something about this.

Lag is painful.

Uninstalled once again the game and downloaded the game with the last update and it fixed nothing.

Everything was fine before and when the Easter update...
EA please fix this, it's annoying !

The last update fixed my lag completely so they are working on it. Good luck with yours, hope it gets fixed soon!

I still have lag and crashing when I arrow into a couple of my neighbor towns.

Sticky lagging here...and Smithers is locked in the. Control Room, with an error! I want to get him OUT of there. Let's go EA...not sure I want to buy more donuts for the new goodies if it lags to play! :oops:
