Delete friends because they crash or lag

I absolutely agree! I won't delete my friends because of this. They're not at fault. Once the lag is fixed then, in time, I guess I'll find out who is playing and who isn't. But for now, I'm leaving things as is.

I dont do that either, i have two friends town that at the moment i cannot enter as it keeps booting me out

I cant delete them as i know it not really their fault, although their towns are rammed with decorations

Yeah, I dont see how that achieves anything. We're all in the same boat. And it's EA'S. And it's sprung several leaks. While careening towards an ice berg. Also the kitchen is on fire and there are no lifeboats.

If I were to do that I'd be deleting everybody, it's not their fault, it's EA's and hopefully they'll fix it.

I've not been able to get into my town since Tuesday, as it keeps crashing when I reach the splash screen. I really hope I don't get deleted by people

I'd finally gotten a load of neighbours with really interesting towns!

Ive got a few friends towns that lag or crash when I try to go there but their towns are just to beautifull to delete.

If its someone I don't know and they have a crappy town: yes, right away. Bye bye!

I have only one town in which my game crashed. I will not delete him.

I have about 5 towns now that crash my game and two towns that wont even load at all

3 towns that take ages to get into as well

Anytime there's a problem, there is always a reaction of players who jump off the deep end. If those players delete me, good for them. Finding new friends has never been a problem.

I'm pretty cautious about deleting friends. A lot of them, I've had for multiple years (since the original launch, not the re-launch). When they stop playing, which is happening more and more frequently lately, I still hold onto them. Eventually I won't be able to. When I do cut somebody off, I just go to the finding friends thread and invite another one. There's no shortage of nice people who want to be TSTO neighbors. I've got 99 problems, but finding TSTO friends ain't one.

That said, cutting somebody off because their town lags with the most recent crappy update is pathetic. EVERYONE'S TOWNS LAG!!!!! Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Do you crash in my town? I didn't crash in yours on iPad4. I noted some irregularly long loading time in your town though (along with some other long time, fully loaded neighbors whose towns usually don't cause any issues). I crashed two times during my 100 neighbor exhibition tonight. I guess that's better than some are reporting. The lag is pretty awful though, I hope EA has a quick fix because this update has a very consequential bug in it. After the Easter Event, they don't have a lot of leeway for programming errors. They've already met their quota.

I have deleted people for crashing. But I always try for a couple weeks before I do and then message BEFORE I do it so they know to replace me.

It's not only cause I don't get anything from them anymore it's cause I can't be a good return friend to them. Especially during events or for FP points I'm no longer contributing to them.

Hello Neighbour :thumbup: No i didn't lag in your town last night, was a little slow in loading but nothing major

I will double check tonight as the FP system is working now

I've heard loading my town is a little slow but i think that is cos i am slightly over the 4500 deco limit

It so hard to stay under that limit tho

Interesting ... I get from this that only some towns are crashing. I haven't bothered to go beyond the neighbour whose town I can't visit because I presumed it was a problem in all my neighbours' towns - I guess that explains why some neighbours are still able to visit me.

I am easily confused these days :?

Anyway, I'll try another couple of neighbours and report back ...

EDIT: I don't make a habit of deleting neighbours unless they've been inactive for at least a week, so there's no chance of me deleting anyone until EA sorts out this issue.

To all my neighbors, I keep getting thrown off trying to visit your Springfield. Until EA fixes this problem, I won't be visiting. Sorry.Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

I couldn't get on one of my neighbours in the Valentine event. he never deleted me, so I assumed he knew that as I had gone from visiting everyday to nothing then something was wrong.

Exactly the same for me, I have now memorised which friends are in front of both towns, so I don't try to arrow into them by mistake and crash the app. Feel sorry for them tbh
