First thing i'd do is put it in a bank account. Secondly I'd buy myself a mansion and loads of simpsons and chelsea stuff. Depending on how much I had left, I'd give it to a cancer charity, or one that does a lot of good work.

I would buy my family a massive house, a few family cars, a few sports cars like Ferrari's and Lamborghini's and give some money to charity and keep the rest! :-D

Right i started this tread so here's my 2 cents...
First thing if i just found out id had £1b+ I'd recover from a heart attack.
Then second id make sure it was real then after finding out its real recover from a second heart attack (bare in mind 3 major h/a kills you)
I'd have a lot of celebrational drinks then buy the pub.
Then go on holiday the rest id make up as i go along lol

That would be the whole point. I'd go away for the off season of football.

Now that I think of it, scratch the island idea. I would buy the Dallas Cowboy's and destroy the team, statdium, and the franchise. Make is so they never existed.

Agreed. I am a big fan of the world cup, both men's and women's. I can't wait until the USA gets it's act together and start getting some of it's best athletes playing soccer. As of now, 95% of our best athletes play football or basket ball, not to take away from our soccer player though.
