I'm not unfriending anyone currently. Folks might still be taking a break after the Easter disaster, which I don't wanna blame them for.

Wow! It never occurred to me that anyone would go to all the bother of friending and un friending people for points!

Maybe it's good that the neighbour in question has gone?

Can you visit more than 100 neighbours in any one day?

No, after the 180th action you are not allowed to visit. Technically you can only visit 99 friends if you visit Other Springfield.

I think they accepted, visited the town, either A) didn't like what they saw, B) there was nothing to tap on (meaning owner cleared all the buildings or failed to clear handshakes). A) could be of a housefarm, lack of decorations, nothing visually inspiring... whatever they were looking for they didn't care.

For me it depends on the activity of that friend. I have some friends that visit me everyday with or without an event happening. When they don't visit for 1+ week, I usually don't delete them. I assume they're on vacation or have gotten busy IRL.

However, if they same thing happens with someone who doesn't visit as often, I usually delete them after 2 weeks or after they don't have anything left to tap in their SF.

There is no right or wrong answer; it's your game so it's up to you :)

I am a daily player so I need friends where I can tap daily. 3-4 days of nothing to tap and i'll probably delete you. If you want to do the same to me I really don't mind.

Having said that I didn't delete anyone during the recent bug which affected me also.

I only unfriend during special event. Right now I wish/hope not all my neighbors delete me because like many others I am locked out of my game and cannot do a thing about it but wait on EA to fix the problem :hunf: .

I'm actually doing an audit now.

Because i had 100 neighbors but was getting only about 50 visitors for the last few days.

I just went thru the list and booted anyone not played in 2 days or more. That eliminated about 6 people.

Now I'm going to have to print a neighbor list and confirm they are visiting me daily and not just skipping me.

My opinion is that there are thousands of enthusiastic people playing and visiting ALL of their neighbors daily. That's who i want as neighbors. So i have open slots for DAILY ACTIVE players who actually VISIT DAILY TOO.

but i also prefer creative designers too, so if you send me a request, and your town is a mess or just a giant house farm, you may get deleted promptly.

Neighbors aren't friends. There's plenty of neighbors to be had but only a few will be friends. Rotate out your bad neighbors but keep your friends!
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

if they are the latest level give them a week/week and a half max when they are 2 weeks plus they have usually stopped playing the game and are no longer useful so delete and add new ones.

I don't really pay attention until there is nothing left to tap in their town. Usually when that happens, they have cleared their town recently, so they are fine.

If there is nothing to clear and they have been gone for over a week, they get the boot.

Since the last event (where I lost 1 - 3 per day) ended, I have not had any inactive neighbors. I don't keep track of who visits me, I just want neighbors who have stuff for me to tap in their towns. If they also visit me, that is icing on the cake :D

I try to wait 3 to 4 weeks, incase they are on holiday. I also look to see if they create a post on here to say they will be away for any reason

I delete after 3 days. 3 strike rule if I cannot tap on your town. Harsh? Here are my reasons.

I decided to get more friends to get more FP points so I'm more concerned with being able to tap on their towns rather than them visiting me (unless I need someone to graffiti in order to boost my righteousness level. This drops occasionally and I haven't a clue how it works)

I picked up all my friends (apart from family or personal friends) from the "daily players" thread. If you don't play daily. Don't log an "add me"post in that section.

I only have about 40 friends because you don't get many FP points beyond a certain point. I think I have a good set of frequent players so it's not hard to spot inactive players. Also If I miss a day playing myself I have more than enough buildings to keep them happy if they visit.

I don't have any problems with people dumping me if they cannot tap on my town. It's their game and prerogative.

I'm usually not too strict and generally don't drop people until maybe a month or two. I have a full friends list and plenty to visit, and who visit me. I'm a little more strict during events, especially if when there are goals to meet and a limited time to do it. If I have neighbors who don't seem to be playing it and invites waiting from ones who want to, I trade them out after a couple days.

It depends on how good of a neighbor they've been. I just deleted a neighbor I'd had since Whacking Day, but it took me nearly 3 months before giving up on them. Others I've deleted after a week or two, if they are below Level 40 and not looking like they're progressing.

This is how I tend to do it as well. If I know it's a person who has been frequently active/helpful in the past I'll give them a longer time but if it isn't I usually give them a week or so.

Unfortunately I had a lot of active daily players disappear after the Easter event =\

I like the differentiation between friends and neighbours.
If it is a friend I will wait for weeks, hoping that he/she will be back.
Neighbours are deleted after two weeks of inaction.

But I render towns invisible after a couple of days if they have nothing to tap. As soon as I see the owner's name in my SF, I happily take them back.

And please: send me no more friend requests. Each time I'm posting in a thread like this one, I get dozens of them.
I will only add people I know, so pm me first.

Put training walls until your star is back, you can hide them behind big buildings and will never see your star drop again.

Cheers. Might try that. I have choo choo trains and all sorts of other assorted crap that add to money bonuses hidden there at the moment. I'll find somewhere
