Don't know if anyone's figured this out but I visited my 95 friends and got $17661 and 3687 xp. Thanks neighbors

Nah I didn't figure that out... By my math you only visited 94 friends and got $15000 and 2876 xp... But then again, I didn't figure it out correctly.

Actually, someone else worked out earlier that if you visit 100 friends you get closer to $30K

Whatever the exact amount, it's a huge boost from how it worked before. It makes it even more frustrating when it crashes in the middle of the run though. >_<

    There's a couple things involved.

You have to visit all your friends in the same motion, without going back to your town, restarting, etc. Even if a neighbor crashes you, you go back to collecting $16 from the first neighbors and then it goes back up from there. If you stay in and keep visiting, it's well above $100 each house you click.

Also, I made more a couple days ago when people were starting to decorate houses and I had to go back into some neighborhoods 2-3 times, as opposed to once.

Not very scientific, but two observations.

Yeah, I also heard that it's down to entrances into towns. So you could potentially go through the list tapping (or spraypainting) one thing at a time for each then do the same thing twice more. It would take a long time and you'd have to hope for no crashes, but you could be earning crazy money that way.

Do you even have to collect anything when you enter a town? Could you theoretically just visit and leave a whole bunch in a row and then start collecting once the bonus is already up over 100/building?

lol, absolutely no idea. Why not try it out if you have the time and patience?

I might do that tomorrow. I've got about 12 hours before I can collect from any of my friends again.

it's such a great daily bonus. uh...when it works. lol I'm at about 95 friends right now and it's really helping along with the price of buildings going down.

Between this, temporary building purchases using coins, and the fix to the premium item bonuses...the cash is just rolling in!

I also noted something interesting. Since the Christmas update nobody has spraypainted any of my buildings, yet my Rightousnous remains 5 star.

I tried that yesterday before the server went down. I was able to visit other Springfield and all 100 friends without issue... Then crashed on entrance to the first repeat visit. Went back through all 100, again crashed upon the first repeat. So the bonus seems to max out at 100 (technically 101 since other Springfield counts), and won't keep going up if you continue to visit.

So the only practical use I can see is if you want to only visit 33-34 neighbors in one sitting, you can still reach the max bonus by the last tap.

I literally just did this with my 85 friends or so and the last tap fetched me $86. Pretty big haul overall!

That seems low... My 100th yielded $181 per tap.

I wonder if it is based on the value of the buildings you tap or if your conform-o-meter or premium items bonus affects the rate of increase.

I have all the premium buildings, characters, and items and I'm at 4 stars. I was tapping decorated houses to collect coins. I noticed that it was pretty much just going up a dollar or so every other house I visited. 85 friends and I got up to $86 per tap.

I only left a friend's Springfield once before collecting all three payouts. So you might need to use that trick to get up to $181 per tap.

I just went through some of my neighbors, tapping one item each (no duplicates or reentries).

My first four taps yielded $20, $22, $25, and $29, respectively (then I lost track). The 51st tap yielded $100. My 82nd tap yielded $161.

I have 5 stars, and 1.75% additional bonus (6.75% total).

I didn't know the amout collected increased exponentially when visiting friends. I always thought you got the same amount no matter how many towns you visited in succession. I guess I've been doing it wrong this whole time :?

Question though, does it matter what you tap? I'm collecting coin like most people but I'd like to know if spray painting a building for example yields a higher return.

    HRHJames,

Things have now changed, for the better for a change!

Before the Christmas update the $ and XP value was the same for each town you visited no matter how many towns you visited in a session, however, both now increase with the more towns you visit in one go.

So now it seems that having more friends pays off but even if just quickly **** in and out and do a raid on the decorated houses it will still take you somewhere between 45 - 60 mins at a minimum, more if you have a good look around each town you visit.

After about 106 friends, I was getting $118. (I removed 6 friends for not having decorations and added another 6 who do)
