That's what happened to me after the Christmas 2013 event. I bought a boat load and they went on sale 2 or 3 days later. So of course I had to buy another boat load. A Christmas present to myself but a lot of money.

I have the Cracker Factory and my husband has Otto. They're both great, solid premium purchases. There are some premium purchases which can be kind of frivolous (like 225 donuts for the Sleep-Eazy/Miss Springfield or the new Unfinished Shed/Bernice's brother set) and others that are basic, fundamental Springfield characters/items. Luann and Otto fall into the latter category. Otto's a pretty good deal (only 120 donuts) and he has a TON of quests. I was really impressed. I'm probably going to buy him next. If you got Johnny Fiesta's, he unlocks a task there (the only Johnny Fiestas task in the game, I believe) Luann and the Cracker Factory are great too. There's 2 great questlines with Luann and it unlocks the Fleet-a-Pita too. Luann has a 3 cool visual tasks.
Too many tappers, a majority, belive a sale will not happen in the other thread with the poll. More donut virgins should buy a boatload to make the sale a reality. Buy now, make Gil appear quicker! Lol.

Frinks Lab...I like his animations, ride the flying machine is an hour and its one of my favs...150 donuts
ottos bus...its Otto, but limited quest line and don't love his animations...120 donuts
I would buy all four again
