Opinions on Premium Items that Cost 200+ Donuts

Volcano Lair or Kamp Krusty

Both those items go well with other buildings in Springfield - I have the Volcano Lair with the Nuclear Power Plant and although i don't have Kamp Krusty, it goes quite nice if you have a forest area

Barney's Bowlarama and Sleep-Eazy-Motel are just a rip off by EA - especially as they were free before :evil:

Will catch flak but out of those I would go with Kamp Krusty or volcano lair. Love Barney and all but the other two are tied to such great episodes.

No doubt! The fact that they were free has made me hold off for the year-plus I've been playing.

Those are the two that I was leaning towards, actually. I love the look of both the Volcano and Kamp Krusty. It really grinds my gears that Barney's Bowlarama and Sleep Eazy were free and now they're both some of the most expensive items in the game.

Those are the two that I was leaning towards, actually. I love the look of both the Volcano and Kamp Krusty. It really grinds my gears that Barney's Bowlarama and Sleep Eazy were free and now they're both some of the most expensive items in the game.

Personally for me, i think it's outrageous for EA to charge as much for them. For 300 donuts, you can get Kamp Krusty/Volcano Lair and another premium building or character, for Barneys and Sleep-Easy, you can't. It's a simple choice really unless you truly desire the other two

I'd probably buy them in the order you listed with the camp last, since it only comes with a skin and not a character. But it's a tough choice between the first 2. I just think Barney makes Springfield more complete. Also when winter rolls around you can hope that his Plow King skin returns. Scorpio's 8 hour flame thrower task is cool, along with his 6 hour fun run task...his indoor tasks make his building open up, which is also sweet. So that might be a reason to go with him, especially if you enjoyed the episode.

I voted volcano lair as as much as I'd like Barney in my town, 250 donuts is just stupid!

No doubt! The fact that they were free has made me hold off for the year-plus I've been playing.

I really want those two items, but as i've said, it's absolutely ridiculous what EA are asking for them. So i gotta drop £14 for 300 donuts, and literally get one item for that. It's not worth it. At least with the other two (at 200 donuts each i think) you can get another character or building with the leftover donuts

Kamp Krusty is the only one of those I've bought. Two were free and there is absolute no room for the Volcano Lair in my town. I like Kamp Krusty. It turns Bart into a premium and adds another element to my towns outlands or forest area.

Yeah, "Kamp Krusty" and "You Only Move Twice" are classics. I could go all Comic Book Guy on EA and point out that the Volcano Lair shouldn't be in Springfield, but in Cyprus Creek. I wouldn't go there though. I really love the look of it and Hank Scorpio is just too cool. You won't catch any flack from me. I was leaning towards the two suggested. They look the best and are cheaper than the other two.

I know, size is an issue when it comes to the Volcano Lair. I'll have to do some rearranging. Kamp Krusty is so cool looking. My forest could use some rustic-ness. Bart's skin is pretty awesome too. It's good to know that he gets premium payout when he's wearing it. I didn't even think of that.

Yeah, Barney is such an important Springfield character. I know I'll end up getting him eventually. It's just hard to make that 250 donuts plunge. I've seen neighbors' volcano lairs open up and it's pretty cool looking. I like your avatar, by the way. Every time I see it I can hear Barry White in my head saying, "I love the sexy slither of a lady snake". lol

It's also has 3 (?) outdoor tasks for Bart. One of them, or his 4 hour, is him running around town shooting a bow and arrow. The other two are right in front of Kamp Krusty. Bart burning something and Bart roasting marshmallows.

It seems that nobody likes the Sleep-Eazy. I like the look of the motel (the swimming pool and everything), but 225 is pretty steep for Miss Springfield, especially given the fact she was free on Whacking Day last year. I think I'll have to take Sleep-Eazy out of the running now. I'm down to the Bowlarama, Volcano Lair, and Kamp Krusty.

The bowlerama isn't that exciting but Barney is such an important character that I had to get him.

Agreed. I'd buy the set for any amount up to 140 donuts, but 225 is way too much for a pretty minor character and a rarely seen building.

I got both bowlarama and sleazy motel for free during the events they were released in. With that said, I think bowlarama is way better from the two of them. Barney has some awesome tasks, and he's a must have, plus bowlarama pays out well, and gives Ned and Homer premium tasks there.

If I had the donuts I would get kamp krusty. I got bowlarama free.

Ive only got 2 of m. Bowlorama and the motel. Out of those 2 i would really recommend getting the bowlorama. I was pretty disappointed with the motel. Building is nice, but not great and the quest for miss Springfield... well frankly, it sucked. And the character itself sucks too. No funny tasks. So i would say, dont buy that one.
