Issue with building placement

Hello. I hear it is warm today in chicago. Perhaps pics of your problem area can help us identify if it is the notorious #41hj43 error.

I'm on a first gen kindle fire unfortunately, screencaps are extremely tedious to get. Perhaps it's an issue with the device, with that being said.

I cleared space between two buildings to place the jewelry store. it's building in another spot right now. When I tried to build it in the spot I wanted it, or move it there, it just freezes, green, and sits there. I can still back out of TSTO and start it again with no problem.

It's warm here today, alright. I'm not much for hot days, but we had such a terrible winter that I don't mind.

What is the error you mentioned?

Perhaps a small bug? There were countless of those last year: Squidport tiles, Squidport performers, certain building and character tasks etc. See if reinstalling helps. If everything fails then contact the Customer support.

PS Don’t mind the bored players, the photophiliac and the newbies.

I have the same issue with several spots in my SF. I contacted EA Support and they told me that it was a known issue and they were working to fix it for everyone but those who report it will have theirs fixed quicker. I'm apparently in some queue to have mine fixed by a development team. However, I haven't heard anything for a week since I was told this.

I've had it happen to me once, but by the time I next logged in it was working again, it didn't last like your issue :?

Report it to EA, as like monkeyman said the more ppl report it the quicker it will be fixed

Thanks for all the great tips, everybody. I'm going to reinstall, and, if that doesn't work, contact EA support.

Edit: Deleted to reinstall, won't let me reinstall. Very sad now

This really sucks, I have to say. I deleted the app to reinstall and my device refuses to recognize that I uninstalled it. It's old I guess. But it really sucks. My game is gone and I can't get it back. Goodbye forums, it was fun while it lasted

Edit: A bit rash I suppose, after a long battle, I may have it back . . . . hooray!

The name of your condition would get people banned for saying. A different condition would be troll or photophiliac.

I have the exact problem! (The freezing problem.)(Not photophilia.)

It is in two of my towns, and in the same region of both ... Up there in the top corner (pointing helpfully at the corner up toward the end of the mountains farthest away from the water.). It's not exactly IN the corner ... It's starts at about the equivalent of two plots of land in from the mountains and two plots of land in from that edge of town. In both towns. The freeze problem involves an area of about four-squares. Can't put anything there.

Jim, hon, it would take a series of pics of a stopwatch in gif form, to document this. The land itself looks exactly the same as any land - frozen or not - with the check mark highlighted. It just takes freakin forever to reanimate. And I ain't gonna take pics of a stopwatch. Even for you.

Btw, the freeze may be in other parts of town, but I haven't been working in some areas. Most of my town, roads, etc are just peachy keen.
