Why do we persist to try and play a game which clearly isn't fit for purpose? I log on several times a day only to be met with cannot connect to server. You think for a company like ea they might actually give a toss? Clearly not.

If the game worked I may actually purchase donuts . Not a chance. What's the point in paying for something you can't use.

    Ea get your act together

Exactly. This is why I refuse to buy donuts. I'm a big fan of the Simpsons, and I like this game when it works, but there are constant bugs and connection issues. EA should be embarrassed.

I wish I hadn't bought any donuts. Game is generally unplayable. I can lose my Springfield at any time, it is just a matter of 'luck'. EA apparently doesn't care about the problems since many people are still loosing their Springfields and connection, server problems has been increasing. They shouldn't have released this game.

At least, if there are issues, we shouldn't have to wait 6 hours for a reason. Have some respect for your users.

I've already contacted Apple for a refund. If enough folk do it, EA may start to take a look at the issues properly. The problem is that if folk are still buying in-app purchases, then it may look to EA that folk are willing to put up with the unreliability of the game

I swear its like they come in to the office and shut down the servers on purpose every day.

Woke up this morning eager to earn some santa coins and immediately had connectivity issues. Thought something was wrong with my ipad or game. Glad to see that is not the case. But EA really is letting me down. Just when I thought I would buy some donuts. Nope. Not after this mess.

Aaaaaaaaah Bowlarama was finally there, then game crashed and I couldn't assign the first task to Barney :(
Anyway I've got the impression that the servers go down when the big traffic from the US begins.

Agree 100% on this. Regulars say that people from EA dont come here but I dont buy this. This is EA's Forum. I guarantee they have people that come here and read this forum. They may not post but they read it.

Someone who works at EA has the ability to create sticky threads. I would say 90% of the people here have spent money on the game. They might get bashed by all of the negative EA sentiment here but they can post something here to help us through these things. Whether you are a paying customer or a free user you are a customer and deserve support on a product.

Cmon EA come in here once in a while and show your CUSTOMERS you care about us

Back up for me (UK - not that it seems to matter) though there's the usual no Origin / no friends issue.

Thank God I'd already set everyone on eight hour tasks.

I agree with you. I believe that something must push EA and this pushing force might be an icreasing demand for refund. Therefore I will also apply for refund but I made my first donut purchase in October. I hope there is NO deadline to claim a refund. I am away now; I don't have my computer and I can't access 'view purchase history' section and thus I can't report a problem with a purchase. When I am back, I will contact Apple.

Because despite the issues with the servers, a lot of us are diehard Simpsons fans and this game is fantastic and really well supported.

True it does have downtown and lots of problems but overall I've never seen an app this well supported with content updates and new stuff all the time. It really is awesome. Let's hope they can fix the server problems for good, and get back to merely making new content instead.

The main thing that sucks about this downtime, is that it's getting harder to save the coins needed for SLH, Funzo 1 and 2... My estimate had me at 14 days for all of them but it's gonna keep being pushed back because of these issues.
