The main thing that sucks about this downtime, is that it's getting harder to save the coins needed for SLH, Funzo 1 and 2... My estimate had me at 14 days for all of them but it's gonna keep being pushed back because of these issues.
Exactly right, although I have sent my characters on 8 hour tasks this morning it's not really money I need at the moment, need to be able to visit friends and collect coins.
I am back up in California! Able to visit friends and collect from my town. At least everyone is on job for next 12 and all my friends through next 24... Server issues really make you think ahead. Lol
Origin should give us each 100 and 500 santa coins donuts because of the 3 days the server was down we could have probably built buildings and done tasks that all together would have cost us 100 to speed up all of those tasks and buildings together and we could have earned 500 sabta coins in the3 day time period i am not joking we deserve them
It doesn't make origin lose any money they dot have to pay for the donuts plus it would lower the anger the people have with EA and origin right now and make all of our progress corrected again plus we would have been at the progress of having 100 donuts and 500 santa coins by now so EA give us 100 donuts and 500santa coins
The daily 11:30 outage is starting early. Every time the time gets extended. Saturday about 3 hours. Sunday about 6 hours. Monday about 10 - 12 hours. Expect today's to be about 24 hours if the doubling trend continues.
I set all my people on 24 hour tasks.
Sighs. I was ready to walk away from this mess yesterday but like a good little addict, I came back today.
I even tried deleting all my friends to see if that would make my game more stable. No dice. So I'm slowly adding them back to see what my magic number is before my game crashes all the time. (This is an issue beside the server one).
Mine seems to be working, although I am not sure I can visit neighbors (was booted earlier and didn't want to try again lol).
I guess I shouldn't complain much because I started playing during the Halloween event, got booted after a couple weeks and couldn't get back in until the Thanksgiving update. So this is definitely a little better than that.
Would also think the EA servers are having a bit if a meltdown with everyone manically adding friends and visiting them all, but IMO EA should have really foreseen this as they are the ones who are effectively forcing us to visit friends to collect coins due to the limited number available from own towns :evil: .
Off topic, pretty sure EAUrsula over at the EA Answers HQ page is an EA troll. Same canned messages and she links most people to this forum like they will get the proper help from EA. Just proves to me EA really has a lot of customer service issues and are being run by inept people.

EDIT: On and off. I get logged in for 30 seconds and then I'm kicked off. Then the screen "Cannot Connect to Server"
