How long will you give your current friends that have not updated to the Stonecutters update until you replace them? Yes it's been a day, but I only have a handful of people to get emblems from, and that's killing my progress. I think I might give them another 2 days, tops.

It's way too early to replace people yet, the 16 hour build time for the Lodge hasn't even expired yet for people who got the update right away. IMO it wouldn't be fair to drop a friend because he/she decided not to rush the build with donuts. I need to drop a few that have been inactive for over a week now, I'd say three or four days into the event before I drop anyone else.
    New neighbors always welcome!

Yeah, this. Certainly by the next afternoon for sure (Thursday afternoon).

That's the question, I usually give neighbors till the weekend, but this event seems like so much fun, I want to have enough neighbors to visit.

Il give people until I do my rounds on Thursday afternoon. I got the update right as it came out and my lodge won't be done for a couple more hours so I'll give people a little cushion.

I paid the donuts to rush the lodge along because I knew that it would take time and it would be key to unlocking the rest of the event. That being said, I can't wait forever for infrequent players to get around to it. Maybe this is a good way to sort the wheat from the chaff.

That seems reasonable. I'll probably do the same. Friday morning is the latest I'd go. I try to be patient with my neighbors. I know that some people go on vacation or have something come up and they can't always check their game. Sometimes when my husband and I go up to our cabin in Vermont I can't check my game for a day or two (it's in the sticks, no internet/cell phone reception there unless we go into town). I don't want to be too hasty with people when most of my neighbors are willing to give me a couple days here and there.

I rushed mine about 2 hours ago. I'm pretty impatient. I'm giving friends until Friday. After that I have to move on. I'm loving the update so far though. I've checked in on my account more today than I have last week and I'm a daily player!

It's threads like this that terrify me. I still have 8 hours build on the lodge.

Yeah, my lodge will finish building at 10.10am UK time & then there's a 4 hr task for homer & a couple of other little bits to do, I don't think the visiting of neighbours unlocks straight away to get the emblems???

My thing is unless they are real life friends, or family I don't owe anyone crap. I'll drop non daily players during events in a heartbeat. I've even deleted my BIL cuz he's not daily. During off events though I don't care. Yup I am kinda a B.

Once the lodge is up it's only a few hours. They have until rounds tomorrow night

Lmao, I took over my husbands town.

I should add I wouldn't delete neighbours that have started building the lodge just those that haven't.

I won't be deleting anyone this week. I've had my friends for a very long time and will give them all a chance.

You start receiving emblems from neighbors once Homer completes his 4 hour task.

You get to know which ones are reliable and who isn't.
