Mine's back but I can't play for more than 15 seconds without losing the server and I can't access my friends at all.

Yeah can't access my friends either. Still some bugs but at least I can open my town.

I was able to get in to collect my revenue, coins, and set 12--24-hour tasks. Strange, though: I have started to get quests for premium characters anew. Moleman has to do his 4, 6, and 10-hour jobs, and Duff Man had to visit the factory. This was some huge update. No wonder we can't play for more than 20 minutes or so, if that :-o

I can log on and do almost everything except store items and remove them from my inventory. As long as I am constantly tapping my game is fine if I pause for more than a minute I get the "uh oh" screen

Right after I typed my reply. I discover all friends missing and each time I press tap to continue cannot connect to server. I'm starting to think EA has scheduled an intervention for all of us. Perhaps they feel our addiction has gotten out of control

I have not been locked out and am able to play, just no friends still.
Atleast we have the forum to hang with friends. 8)

Yes I have managed to get in, but I precariously scared to tap anything before the dreaded 'cant connect' message or crashing.
Managed to play for a whole 7 minutes :shock:, then ......... 'Can't connect' message and then the spinning pink donut appears before I had to abort. Tried again, got in, then the same things happens again.
Now finally I'm back in but can't connect if I go to the friends section.

Pattern forming here. It was fine at about 3pm GMT. It's 4:20pm GMT and I can't log in. It was about this time for the last two days it's been down. I've not collected coins from my friends for three days running!

I guess the number of people visiting their friends has suddenly risen beyond EA's expectations!
