I think most things in the game are references to or come right out of the show from the Sir Puts-A-Lot windmill to Handsome Pete to the weather station.
I promise I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but this WHOLE game is a reference to The Simpson's.
Lol and I was trying to put it lightly.
"Where you been, Homer? Entire steel industrys gay, yeah, aerospace too, and the railroads, and you know what else? Broadway. Moe(Sizlack) ((who also appears in the television series, The Simpson's AND the game TSTO.))
One I just watched today - "Kill Gil, Vol. I & II", from Season 18, features Candy Kevin, the Grumple (and the Grumple's family), Mr. Costington, and in one of his many appearances, our beloved Gil.
The weather station is a reference to one of the flashbacks, IIRC it was part of his vision quest after ingesting the Guatemalan Insanity Peppers during the Chili Cook-off. Homer smashes the first one while dating Marge and during the vision quest he smashes the newest one
I caught the the episode Jaws wired shut, Homer smashes his jaw running into Drederick Tatum's newly unveiled statue. Tatum goes on to say "Excellent bout, no we go party".
of course the whole game is a simpsons reference loll i meant what are they exactly?
one more: tandem bike job of mr burns and smithers are from the episode who shot mr burns and they are actually doing stationary bike.
No. There's definitely been an episode where they rode a real tandem bike. Smithers was stung by a bee, barely pedaled to a hospital before collapsing, and the hospital staff promptly admitted Mr. burns instead of Smithers.

the episode was called - 22 short films about Springfield - i think that clip was the fourth or fifth one shown into the episode
We need the animated Itch & Sctatchy movie billboard that spilled blood. Dome Depot. And, my personal favorite, The Bear Patrol B2 Bomber.
spilling blood? doubt it'd make the cut to the game
I see no harm in it making it into the game though, it is memorable from a couple of episodes and while we are on the subject of billboards, we need 'Lumber King' and Marge's 'Red Blazer Realty' billboards

To add to the thread - the cinderblock tetherball is from season 10 "Lisa Gets An A", the school has it due to budget cuts.
Let's keep this thread alive!
Oh alright.
Lemon Tree is from "Lemon of Troy"
I'm pretty sure TSTO came out first, the show is just copying the ideas of the game
Haha! That did make me chuckle.
A big **** skinner balloon would be an AWESOME decoration!!
