your initial post contributes nothing tangible to the forum other than hysteria and rumor. There are multiple ways to finish the quests, and with no evidence other than a screen shot you automatically assume someone is cheating. Without first hand knowledge it is impossible to tell if someone is cheating or simply has means. Also, their actions in no way effect you or the community. It you dont like the fact that they have more points than you at the start of the event, simply delete them and move on.

I cared enough to post cuz there was already two of these such threads today. I don't know why people have to make trouble for other players. Who cares how people play the game or if they clearly have more money than they know what to do with.

Look... to everyone I upset, sorry. I don't spend every waking minute in this forum. Hell, I have only posted a handful of times. I thought something was fishy so I came here and asked. I didn't give out anyone's name or tell on anyone. I simply wanted to know if they were cheating and if so , what is the point. One of the first people who replied explained it to me and I accepted that. Unless I am wrong, this is a public forum for people to come here and talk about the game. I don't see the need to keep piling on people for being curious. No, it doesn't matter to me what people do with their own towns, but if they are cheating then I would like to know. It makes no sense to have them as a friend because they will never visit your town. Why should they? There's no point after you have everything. So I was just curious and asked here. I can see that was a huge mistake. I've been playing this game daily since it was released and rarely come here, but will never understand people who cheat. Just seems to me it takes any fun out of it. But that is my opinion and I know what opinions are like and everyone has one. Sorry I made you click on this post and waste your time. Will try to not let it happen again... ;-)

But do you really need to ask? There's only 2 scenarios here.

1) They are stinking rich, and bought the donuts legitimately and by some unknown reasoning - basically skipped the event.

2) They did cheat.

It doesn't matter what the reason is or which it is. It's impossible to tell unless they admit to one or the other. With this being EA's official forum, it would be pretty stupid to admit number 2 here.

The only way to tell #2 is when they started the game. Someone that has everything and began when the game did (March/August 2012), is bound to have paid for everything. If they started any time after Halloween 2012 and they have everything, then they obviously cheated. Some items from Halloween 2012 have yet to be re-released, so if someone is a completionist AND has everything AND started after Nov 2012, then they are definitely number 2.

So in summary, if they aren't visiting you, and you see they are done - then just simply unfriend them. There's nothing you can do, or they can do, so it is best to just move on.
