There is only 1 I'm keeping regardless for my own reasons but I'm being a bit stricter then that for the others. If they dont have emblems to spy like you mentioned but also the ones who are only going after lodges and not bothering doing the other 2 clicks I'm removing as well. I'm going as far as making a spreadsheet and will keep track daily of if I see their name 3 times in my town, if they do the lodge then come back, thats fine, but if they dont. They are outta here!! I'm close to the max on friends so I have no problem kicking slackers

I have a few who haven't even started building the lodge yet. Hopefully they will soon.

so are you still waiting for them?
interesting... because even if I could wait till I have at least the friends for my 60 actions... I'm also seeing a decrease in the number of visits in my SF! so probably they have really closed with the game... who knows...

I'm am slowly cleaning the list, not all at the same time, but few per day... we will see...
by the way, have you an empty slot for a new friend? ;-)

I've had no trouble getting max emblems from visiting yet, and have many neighbors visiting me, so there's no huge rush to dump them. A couple of them are forum friends, too, so they get a grace period. (A few have already been deleted because some active forumites PMed me about being neighbors.)

if they haven't got emblems by now or even started to build the lodge ditch them.. the last thing you need is inactive neighbours during events.

As of today, I have almost 40% of my friend with 0 emblems... what do you do? are you cleaning your friend list?
I know that origin can show the last time someone has played, but I don't trust it the client so much, because in the past I have received wrong informations (i mean people "inactive" according to origin, that were visiting my SF)
but the 0 emblems is a clear indicator... or not?

    well...
    in case...
I should have some free slots ;-)

I still have a few neighbors with 0 emblems, but I can see they've built the Stonecutters lodge and have played within the past 24 hours. Not sure what's going on with them, but I'm skipping over them when visiting, because I noticed the system subtracted my "taps" in their town against my daily 60 emblem limit, even though there are no cameras/emblems in their towns. Once I max out on my emblems, I go back and tap, as it's another chance to find a donut.

I would love to create an ultimate friend list of people who are basically nerds and play the game a few times a day like me :D

I have about 20 neighbors with zero emblem counts. I thought, "Ah, easy peasy, I'll delete them since they aren't playing!" Except I go in and find out that all of them have played within the last 24 hours. WTH? Most of them have at least started building the Stonecutter's Hall, so I'll give them a couple more days. I have three friends that haven't even started the darn hall including one that played just six hours ago! What are they waiting for? I hate to delete active neighbors, but if they don't participate in the event, it's hard to keep them around.

My theory is that they came here, added us as neighbors and haven't come back. I think they have no idea there is an app update yet - so I think when EA pushes the forced update button it will happen. Unless of course this event is limited to particular OS versions, which won't allow them to update. I got 2 visits yesterday from neighbors for handshakes - so I can see they are active, but they haven't started the event - or haven't progressed for the ability to spy on neighbors yet.

D'oh! That actually makes perfect sense. I didn't think about the update not being pushed yet. Surely they must wonder why all their neighbors have giant temples and pyramids in their towns, though! I guess I'll give them more time then; active neighbors are hard to find. I find I get about one keeper neighbor for every five random adds during an event.

Having the same problem. Some of the 0 emblem friends visit/spy on me. What's up?

My rule of thumb is that as long as there is still something left to tap in their town, camera or normal cash, I will not delete.

But from my experience from past events, you really have to wait 5 days or so before most players still playing are ready. I know it's a grueling wait for us ultra active players; but, next event and a bunch of your neighbors will not be ready until 5 days either.

I would give them a little more time. Maybe, they built the pyramid, but when it was finished, Homer was busy. So now they have to wait on Homer, and then do his next task before they can get emblems. We can afford to be a little more patient with this event since we only need to visit 20 people to get our emblems from visiting. I'm thinking about not even replacing the ones that I delete. There's no advantage to having extra friends to visit if they don't reciprocate. And random adds are hit and miss.

I had a lot of friends without cameras etc but over the last 24 hours the majority have come online, as you can only get 60 hits when visiting towns this time out, I'm not busting a gut to clear down I actives, but I'd expect anyone plays regularly to have at least started the temple by the end of the weekend. After that................... :?:

That had been my general rule of thumb regarding normal cash too, but I think that's going to change with this event. I've some neighbors that I know updated on the first day, but still have yet to visit me. Reciprocity seems more important than ever. They have until tonight, then it's time to clear the dead weight.

I just went through and removed friends. I had about 15 or so out of 100 with 0 in the emblem counter. I went into each town to see if a friend had built the lodge. If so, I'm giving those people a few more days. If there was no evidence of any stonecutter activity, I deleted that person. I just like to have all of my friends be active. But it certainly isn't about getting enough emblems, I don't think that will be an issue.

I've controlled the neighbours town with 0 emblems. Some are Building the lodge. And I will give them the time.
But I also found 2 towns which doesn't build the lodge. Curious is that this towns are online in the last hours. :?
