A Plea to Visit your Neighbors backwards!

Prev1
I have 14800-some emblems. (My neighbors rock. I also visit each and every one of them.)

Nice advice, but I think most will ignore it or they won't care. You should either just go straight through and let them see that you are tapping theirs and hope they do the same to you or get better neighbors. Sorry, it's just lesson learned.

I visit all my neighbours everyday (except for today when I only managed half due to connection problems and then messed my times up - sorry to those ppl!)

I'm in the middle of the alphabet but as far as I can tell I still get a decent amount of taps, I have almost 13,000 emblems. I have deleted and replaced a fair amount of people since Easter but the neighbours I have now seem really good! I suppose it depends on your neighbours.

It would be awesome that each time you load up the friends page it randomises the list, so a fair share goes across. Because a lot of people do get bord towards the end of their list if they have a 100 neighbours

Some of my neighbours have less than a 1000 emblems so I give them preference over the one's that' are further along in the event.

Nooo they did that once and it was awful! You'd be going through your list and everyone would have different times that you could visit them so it messed it all up!

That's actually very nice of you! :-)

Interesting tactic, but frankly I don't think this will make much difference unless you are time-strapped. If you are, then you are a great neighbor in doing so 8)

I run out of getting emblems around the letter H.

However, that doesnt mean that I stop visiting people - I go through all the neighbors even though they dont all visit me.

I'm at 12k emblems and have my eye on the pool of money next :-)

I have about 75 neighbors and visit all of them everyday. It only takes about 30 minutes or so especially with the five second collection that was recently added.
I hope that all of them return the favor but if not I do not mind that much. More important things to worry about.

I refuse to visit my neighbors backwards

because I am a good neighbor and I visit all of them! Everyday if there is something to be had for either side. But if were in a lull period then i cant be bothered for a % chance to get 1-4 doughnuts. why play the game ****, play it for what is fully meant to be a social game.

i generally hit all the neighbors I recognize from the forum first and then alternate between starting forward and backward to spread the taps.

Thanks guys! I don't have time to visit 100 friends every day so I'm just trying to be helpful.

    I agree with your idea!

I visit all of my neighbors. I usually go from A to Z. I try to visit around the same time each day. If I try to change from my A to Z over to Z to A then I end up waiting for 45 minutes to get my Z neighbor ready. This may be one reason why people have a hard time switching over to hit the end of the alphabet first.

I still don't understand what the problem is. I'm still collecting donuts from neighbours, so I still visit all of them. I have 3 towns, with about 95 friends in each and visit at least 5 days a week. During events like this I try for everyday. On average, it takes less than an hour to go through them all.

My philosophy has always been to visit everyone. What is the sense of having more neighbours than your going to play with?

I do this sometimes. I wish you could actually scroll backwards though.

I visit everyone and don't your friends still get emblems from you spying even if you don't get any?

You don't have to wait for it to be collected you can do your three actions then go to your next friend.

I work my way though my neighbors backwards sometimes. I think I'll do this tomorrow. And then I'll star somewhere in the middle on Wednesday.

    You need less neighbors.

Why not trim your list down so you can visit all of them everyday??

    This.
Used to take me about 40 minutes back at Halloween because they hadn't added the arrow yet. I'd go in, tap buildings, collect, come out town, enter next town and do the same.
With the arrow that became about 30 minutes. I'd tap buildings, collect cash and xp, hit the arrow to go to next time.
Then I found out you didn't need to tap the cash and xp, you could just tap the buildings and then hit the arrow. Only takes 20 minutes now. Barring connection issues.

You're a great neighbour too

If I can't make it all the way through in a day I go he opposite order the next day. That way the awkward middle letters (like m and n) get hit more often
