I generally just blast through my entire neighbours list in one run. Tapping the lodge when I can and avoiding it when I can't gain emblems.

It takes less time. Sure, I may miss out on a few emblems. However, I hope that by visiting everyone and giving three taps I'll get more return visits than I normally would and that will make up some of the difference.

Exactly the way I do me friend visits. Too much hassle to do multiple visits tbh

My strategy is I make multiple passes through my neighbors until I reach my 60 taps with just lodges, then I go through once more and tap on every neighbor (as long as I don't fall asleep like I did last night, lol!).

I do skip towns to find some lodges but i dont tap all 60 lodges. Most of the time its not even possible since the most of the lodges have already been tapped.

I did it last night thinkin one quick thru, tap only the lodges, hopefully get a rack of 5s. Save the rest of your eligible taps for the morning when you do a real run thru (tap the lodge when ya can but three regardless, anything but the lodge after 60, ALWAYS A-Z=THE CODE). Now tonight all my times are jacked up. I like to be able to just roll thru all my peeps in one swing. PLUS the difference isn't significant compared to the daily No. 1 payouts. Think Ima stick to the one homerun and done technique...everybody wins

I tried that out yesterday too and not only did it take a lot longer, but now all my times are messed up!

I might have to skip half my neighbours today just to get my times back to normal for tomorrow so I can start doing everyone all at once again! :?

I go through my neighbours once, looking for lodges. If I find a free lodge, I tap it PLUS two other buildings. Then I go back through and tap everywhere I skipped. I figure this is a pretty good compromise. What bugs me about just tapping the lodges is that it really makes it hard for other neighbours to tap if everyone is only going for the lodge. I suspect there are a lot of possible emblems not being collected because people are not finding a free lodge and not getting back around to tapping other buildings until much later. If even half of my neighbours are looking just for the lodge first, I need to clear emblems 50 times a day for it to go smoothly! We'd all be better off to remember that visiting is more for your neighbour's sake than for yours.

I have started just doing this now too, was taking FAR too long to get all 60 lodge actions then going back to tap out the rest

I'm the same way. I also have several neighbors who do this. Actually, I have several who will tap my lodge two or three times throughout the day, and several I'll go back to because I know they clear their lodge often. I don't see any harm in it.

I did that yesterday, to mutch time so tomorrow i dont do that anymore just tapping three times and leave :-)

Why tomorrow? (today i cant tab (work have to sleep for nightshift) so tomrrow i do everybody again like normal.

Thats also one of my reasons i wait to tomorrow so i can tab everybody the same time again.

I tried to be a lodge tapper again today for one last try and barely made it halfway through the 60 taps. If it only benefits the first few on my list then so be it but I'm done trying to get the most out of my neighbors...let someone else have a chance, they need them more than me. 8)

Oh boy, I know where you're coming from! I was a lodge tapper for one day, no more. It takes more time than I can spare and as said above, it messes up the tap times.

I'll go back to tapping everyone at the same time and call it good. It may take a day or so to get everyone on the same time frame but my peace of mind is worth it!

People are picky about lodge tapping? Wow. So go ahead and delete me. We can both find new neighbors on the forum.

Personally I clear my lodge many times each day and I couldn't care less how many times anyone taps it, or anything else for that matter. People are way too high strung if they're getting all worked up about this. Delete. Replace. Move on and bit your quitchin'.

Well, y'see, some of us don't equate old friends with new ones. We like to discuss things, and learn from one anothers experiences, and come up with ways to make our old friends happy. That's the secret to keeping old friends. Not to (as you so eloquently stated) "Delete. Replace. Move on."

You obviously are happy to delete, replace and move on. Go for it. Be happy. Sounds a lot more efficient than our way. (Lonelier. But more efficient.)

After either Christmas or thanksgiving (can't recall which) a lot of friends dropped off the map. I gave them a long long while (it was between events so it didn't matter to me that they didn't visit) ... But when the next event came along and they didn't return at all, I waited about a week and then dropped a lot. I went from 100 to 37. (Gasp.). I've climbed back up quite a bit, (waves to brickevand) but never could do a full 100 again. Too lazy. :)
