I wonder if it's a quest-related task or if it's just there for when you want to send him on it.

Homer's task is to be chained to the stone. He has a shackle around his neck and is buck naked. His animation is he tries to pull free.

I saw the animation in someone's town today and it looked really funny. Reminded me of Scrooge McDuck as well. :thumbup:

Awesome! When I heard that they were doing the Stonecutters for the next event, that was my first hope, that they would have naked Homer tugging the Stone of Shame (or Triumph) behind him. I'm glad to know EA did it. The event wouldn't be complete without naked Homer and the Stone of Shame.

I got the pool today. Great animation, will probably run Burns on that task continuously for a while.

This event just keeps getting better and better.

The pool, the table, and the stone. Great animation. Any ONE of those three items, even as a premium item would make for a worthwhile event. I'd pay donuts. To think that we get even ONE for free as a prize is amazing. But all three? For free?

Notice I didn't mention the Devil's Anvil. For lots, I understand that's the goal. I'm pretty sure mine will be in storage, along with King Homer's Tower thing. Too much space for something I can live without, though I like both. I'll be thrilled with the other three

That's understandable regarding the anvil, it's a big decoration but still a really nice piece to show off your hard work- at least put it out for a week or so just as a badge of honor 8)

And I already have the perfect spot for it, tucked away in the far corner where I never go, out of the way of my main town until I get enough money to buy the land around it. 8)

I remember the Anvil was long rumored to already be in the game. There were pics of it floating around months ago. I wonder if they just finally used it instead of having to create a 10th Stonecutter prize like how we got Greenpeace and Night Boat as part Judge Snyder, the courthouse and Blue Haired lawyer level update.

It doesn't have much meaning to me. I don't think I ever saw the episode it appeared in and don't even believe there's any connection to the Stonecutters.

Am I right in thinking that they also play a little of the song at the table? I think I saw that somewhere but I mght have imagined it in my stonecutter excitement.

I do like the Stonecutters episode and those animations are the key elements on it. They are funny. But what is the Satan's anvil? I don't remember it. This is an excellent event indeed, but if I may whine just a little, I would have preferred a building (and/or character) as the main prize. I wasn't playing when they gave the First Church of Lard Lad Donuts, the motel and such, and I have been hoping for an event with prizes like that.
