Who makes up your magic combo?

Personally I send everyone who has the task on it and then match the time to eveyone else so everyone finishes at the same time. So currently I have about 6 people 'milking a cow' for 6 hours and everyone else who has a 6 hour task is doing there respective 6 hour task (or 4 hours if they dont, then the hour ones) that way when the next task is revealed I have eveyone at my disposal.

But then I currently have the time to do this!! :D

Which characters make up your the group of people you send on #1's tasks? Currently, I keep these characters free:

    Brockman: Celebrity, Senior, High Roller
Quimby: Criminal, Civil Servant, High Roller, Glutton
    Rod: Child, *, Saint(?)
    Cletus: Dimwit, *
Comic Book Guy: Brainiac, Glutton, Entrepreneur, Pessimist

The starred out word is k o o k, btw. In the game but blocked by forum censor once again. -.-

I myself keep the following ppl free:
    Ned: Saint, Senior
    Burns: Entrepeneur, Senior, High Roller
Krusty: Celebrety (the only one i have right now), Entrepeneur, Cook (misspelling intended)
ComicBookGuy: Brainiac, Glutton, Entrepeneur, Cook, Pessimist
    Lisa/Martin: Youngster, Brainiac
    Cletus: Dimwit, Cook

a good (but not totally complete) list is also here: http://tstoaddicts.com/2014/06/05/number-1s-daily-tasks/

The problem with your list is that it lacks a woman, which is one of the categories. If you replace Brockman with Wolfcastle, you keep Celebrity and High Roller, and also get Dimwit so you no longer need Cletus. You lose Senior and still need Woman, so add Agnes in place of Cletus and you're all set.

Agnes - Comic Book Guy - Quimby - Rod - Wolfcastle

I'm the same but I do send some characters on a 4 hr Task if I know they won't be needed at all :)

In my main town, where I have tons of cash and don't need it, this.

In my second town, where I still need cash, I just set up everyone on same-length tasks.

I do the same thing since I don't mind missing out on some money generated from tasks if it will make it easier/faster for me to find the character that just completed Number 1's tasks and to send someone else to do the next one.

I forget where I saw the list I'm using. Props to the person who came up with it. Warning: I have not check that it's right! I plan to do that today. I'm tired from the late nights.

Oh yeah, not that it should matter, but some of these are people you need to send on a parchment task. Those tasks accumulate, which is why it should not matter.

i just try to time all of everyone's task so that there complete at around the same time. so once i get the riddle, everyone is free and i get to solving it, sometimes just by going through the each character to see if a new task was added to their task menu (if i can't figure out the answer based on my Simpsons knowledge). not the best strategy, but works fine for me and i'm over 14,000 emblems so far.

Ive been cycling 12 hrs at noon and midnight. If i need someone for a task, i store them to free them up and then retask them. Seems easier to me.

All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

For Number 1's Tasks I keep the characters from the first 20 levels free which covers all the group at least once.

For the parchment I send the required character on the task the day/night before the riddle unlocks so when I wake up its automatically completed
