If you level up and there is no level above the one you are on, then you get a chance at some donuts. Do you know about that?

No problem, you can repeat this numerous times, so while you wait for levels you can win like 18 donuts by leveling up 6 times.

If you have cash to spare, buy Bloodmobiles, Volleyball courts or Weather stations. Then sell them back and do again.

Makes leveling go a LOT faster.

I was already level 41...before the update I needed 444K points to level up

however, after the update I only need 322K to hit the present now so it went down 122K
