How exactly do I post a gif? I can't seem to figure it out.

Just use the img tags. [ img]url of image[ /img]

But without the spaces.

I have tried that and it doesn't work (I usually preview before I post and I never see the image). I am pretty ok in HTML code, but not seeing pics I try to post.

Also hoping to get a visit from the avatar fairy!

That's interesting because I can post images but my avatar does not show up.

I could post images from day 1 on the forum, I think they changed promotions at some point to just avatars.

I have been trying for a couple of months with no luck. Hopefully, June will be my lucky month.

How many people do they promote each month? Is it based on number of posts? Number of topics created? Who doe s the promotion, the Mods?

Really? Huh, I couldn't post images until I got promoted, unless they were in my signature.

I'm not sure, but I was promoted in my first month as a member. I posted several times a day. I was/am often active in the bugs and issues forum.

I'm not sure either. All I know is when I got promoted I probably made a little less then a hundred posts that month.
