I like McBain. I held off buying the film set for a while though, because I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. I would do the same, until you see a way to make it work, otherwise, it does kind of look weird and out of place. I added it together with krustyloo and Channel 6 as part of my little Springfield entertainment studio.

This is what I want to do. My studio area currently looks like this:

I can't decide if it'll look weird there.

Here's what I did with mine (although I'll be changing it now more Krusty stuff has come)

I use all the strange weird buildings as "film sets" I feel it gives them a right place in the town.

That's actually not bad. Would be nice to have a visual task in that area

I don't think I have given Wolfcastle any tasks since I bought the filmset, because McBain has a couple of truly awesome ones (IMO) ... his 8 hour "Fight Commie-****" is almost as good as Scorpio's "Test Flamethrower", and the 24 hour one (shown above) is superb. Nice to see that animation fire up when someone spies on the film set as well. His 12 hour (?) "Go Undercover" task is pretty good too.

McBain's tasks also pay at premium rates for those who need the cash.

That is a great task too

I think it would fit rather well in there.

I also have it placed with my Channel 6 and Krustylu. It looks good as a little entertainment district and the KBBL will go there as well when I get it.

I like that studio layout you've got.

Does it seem like EA is getting better at scaling buildings? Just seeing some of the older buildings like Springfield Stadium or KrustyLu Studios next to the newer ones like the I&S studio and Ahhh Fudge! is a good visual. The buildings will never be accurately scaled due to the limited land space but I can't recall the last building that was as horribly out of scale as the baseball stadium.

Nope. The scaling is horrid and beyond fixing.

Yes, the McBain skin has awesome visual tasks. Also the empty grey pavement in your entertainment industry area is begging to be filled.

One of the worse is the Sleep Easy Motel. Its so short and tiny. I tried o put a phonebooth next to it, but the motel was completely dwarfed.

Exactly what I did with it. McBain's outdoor tasks are amongst my faves in the game, so never regretted purchasing it

one of the people on my friends list Incorporated it into a drive in theater they placed the film set surrounded what looks like Brown fence pieces in a 3d set up to give it a border around it with the film set in the center looks really good.

I love the film set. I have it across the street from Krustylu. It's surrounded by concrete wall with chain link gate. When McBain is shooting, the gate is opened and yellow sawhorses are placed to block off surrounding streets to keep the noise down. When he's not, the gate closes, and the sawhorses are removed. I also have the Devil Donuts trailer in there for "craft services".

I'd post screenshots if I were promoted…. hint hint :)

    Thanks!

I spent hours yesterday building it. Thanks to the storage glitch I has to move part of a forest by hand

It would seem you've all convinced me :-)

KBBL radio will go where that gate is, similar to how I've got ch6. Until they (if they) introduce like a gate and guard ( hint EA).

I've got to add something though. I'll wait until I see how kbbl fits in.

Also, I really hate the stadium.
