Do I need more land? Of course not. Do I need to play tsto? Not really. If they want me to continue to choose to play, they need to make the game fun. Having to shift everything to place the next building. isn't my idea of fun. I have lost neighbors with the prettiest town because they have no room. I love my maze and my forest. I will miss my lake with islands that I gave up for my stonecutter complex. I don't have the prettiest down, but it pleases me and having to destroy and redesign keeps getting harder and harder, so yes, please, EA, I would like more land.

I'm 50/50 on new land. Maybe we will get new land at Halloween or better yet Christmas.

Your lake with Islands sounds very interesting, do you have a pic of it?

Nah, I seldom take pictures of my town. They were one square each with decorations and plants.

I don't actually need more land. In fact I still have a couple plots left to buy. But I think a few more level updates and another event and I'll run out of room. Of course I could downsize some stuff. I don't have a big forest, lake, or fancy designs, but I have tried to decorate each building nicely. And I have a bit of a parking lot problem. I also don't have any premium buildings. I'm sure a lot of premium players are cramped for space. All that being said if they were to add more land I'd gladly accept it and find something to put there. And I hope they release some soon for all the people who create beautiful towns and are in need.

Have like 3 parcels of land lengthwise free atm and I have a lot (>50%) of premium buildings as well as a giant house farm. I think players who do need more land generally just have bad resource management.

It would be nice but I don't think EA is going to accommodate this minority by adding a lot more land. TSTO probably isn't going to last a meaningful length of time longer for this investment. Instead, EA is just making smaller buildings like for the Easter Event or awarding a lot more item prizes like for the Stonecutter Event.

I feel kind of bad because the people complaining about land probably jipped us of Chester's gold mansion.

 this all sounds sooooo right

Yes, I get some people don't need any more land. Yes, I get that there are people with massive housefarms. When are people going to realize that a specific situation doesn't apply to everyone?? What will you say to people that have a normal albeit cramped town and no more land left?

And on that second point, LOL. Hey, all you guys needing land. The Easter wheel was probably your fault. EA didn't want to guarantee more buildings because of all the unnecessary land whining.

My lack of land prevents me from buying additional premium items. I have been playing for a long time and have purchased many of the premium buildings and characters. I just don't have enough room to fit in the new ones (.e.g rocket car, Marconi shed, etc.) I could rearrange my town but don't feel like it because I like my lay out.
If EA provided more land, I would purchase more donuts.

Level 42 player since Aug 2012. Premium player, but limited capacity.

I'm getting embarrasingly close to being out of land. I'm already thinking that the Satan's Anvil will be taking up space in my inventory box, should I win it. If I actually had all the premium building, I would be out of land.

My freemium game however, plenty of land left to buy. But it's only a year old and only has 1 premium building.

I do! I have been playing for two years so own all the land/water and have started to "scrunch" stuff together. Have tried to fit anything I can onto Squidport but have tons of stuff stored in inventory. I can no longer decorate each new building, just trying to fit it on so I would definitely appreciate another strip of land or two!

Those that say that adding land will cause lag are WAY off base. It will actually HELP the lag as the less tight things are placed the less the device has to render them all in the same area. The memory associated with adding land is so miniscule that it would hardly even be noticed. My prime case in point are games such as the Infinity Blade series. The graphics on those rival the graphics on the XBOX 360/PS3 and the devices run them like butter. Adding one more strip of land to the right side and bottom would be a god send to most players that have been playing for a while.

Now the other most opposed view is that "if people used their space it would all fit." This MIGHT be true for those players who only have free buildings, and don't like to do things other than build a road and place a house every 3-4 squares beside each other. A player such as myself (and PLENTY of others on this forum) actually will spend HOURS on one land plot just to make a building or decoration look like it should with trees, bushes, flowers, parking lots, etc. Also something to consider is that the premium player (such as myself again) has amassed a LOT more larger buildings/decorations than that of the freemium player. I also have been playing since day/week one and have EVERY item that has been given out during an event. I am ONLY MISSING 5 premium items EVER.

Since EA has not yet come up with a good way to message our neighbors (and maybe never will) I have to reserve a fairly large plot for spelling out things like "on vacation" or for something like the Christmas event "still need..."

Been playing since Sept. 2012, so getting hard pressed

"Need" is a little much but, my SF is a bit cramped and I have over $40 million in cash burning a hole in my pocket.

I've been playing since early 2012, and I most certainly could use more land. I have so many buildings in storage that I can't set out. Cause there's not room with light making it look like crap.

I could certainly use one more strip. I've got plenty of land if I want to make my Springfield dull. I've got several two block areas I could erase. My 18 month old hedge maze, my Duff Racer race track, my forested region... Plus a few extra houses / neighborhoods that are mostly filler.

For an update as killer as the Stonecutter one I used my last big block of free land. I'd been saving it for an opportunity such as this. If we get another awesome update like this again soon I'll need to bull zone some areas. If we get another Valentine or Easter update then as 12x12 block is all it will rate.

Still though, a fully developed Springfield is HUGE! But I'm not going to turn down a new strip of land. I'd put it to good use.

As for strip malls, is there any other option? I'm trying to make mine look good, but there's no way I could fit each building with roads on each side plus decorations. At least not without blowing up my entire town and make it look efficient and thereby boring.

Do not need any personally as I still have 3-5 plots left to buy, but I am hoping it is added soon. Maybe with the rumored, all but confirmed Monorail update possibly within the coming weeks.

The key is design. I take some pride in my Springfield, and have put some work into it. If I'd wanted to be a minimalist, then sure, I wouldn't need land. But putting in a river, putting in some gardens, trying to blend the mountains so they flow into the town instead of a bizarrely straight cutline... it took space to make it possible. And even though I've been frugal with it, I've already had to deconstruct some of the more inventive parts (used car lot, airport).

So yeah, more land is needed. If we can't be completists, anymore, then at least let us be landscapers.

Now, if we could migrate more stuff to Krustyland -- especially the themed stuff (Halloween, Whacking Day, Christmas, Easter, etc.) -- that would help a LOT.
