I'm a mostly freemium player who has had a lot if free donuts over the years. I have however spent $20-30. I figured because I love the game and play it so much, slinging the developers some coin was the right thing :)

So far I've only spent $10, but I think I'll likely be spending another five or ten dollars again soon.

Why ashamed? ... I'm happy to be a premium player.

I have spent nearly $600 on TSTO over past 2 years... or $1 per day.

Consider how much I spent on cable tv subscription or a candlelight dinner, this is nothing, lol.

Easily over a hundred or 2 within about 2 years....didn't help when amazon gave you point for buying donuts that could be used to purchase more donuts. MmMmMm Donuts

Edit: So looking at my game and adding the premium stuff and figuring events, it looks more like 300.00 Oh man I have a problem.

$150. I get a lot of gift cards which I have used towards this game. I still have about $30 of Amazon coins I haven't spent yet. But I'm not spending any more than that of my own money. Just relying on other sources :)

Absolutely nothing. I haven't even spent the free donuts I've earned. I can never decide what to buy and I'm always convinced the next event will have something really expensive I just have to get.

$1, but am considering going to the dark side. Although after reading that end of tapped out thread, I'm not sure. Where will my shiny new purchases go then?

I did about $25 at first then held for a donut sale.

When the Christmas donut sale hit, I bought 2 boatloads.

    So $225 pre tax

I used to cautiously spend money on my main game and kept my 4 others as freemium.

    Then came Stonecutters.

Have gone over to the Dark Side in a big way and haven't yet added up the tab.

I reckon I've spent about £1000 in 2 and a half years, I'm definently ashamed but the thing is I think I'll keep spending money on it, what a waste!

It's not a waste if you enjoy it - unless it's affecting you financially - as in, putting you in debt!

I've probably spent about...£20 overall. I limit myself to one golden scratch-card per week now.

    Edit: Although, wow! £1000!!!!!

I haven't spent a cent... Yet. I need to get a new job after I move, and then I'll spend a bit.

Maybe *poof* ... like that movie you go to see, or that show you enjoy on cable TV, or the gas you buy to go to a friend's house for an evening. Why worry? ENJOY yourself!

I rationalise that, I used to buy video games, now I play games on my iPad - if I spend £20 on a freemium game over the course of a year, no biggie!

I've spent at least $500 and I'm low balling it. I've been playing since the beginning and have at least one of every item. I'm both proud and a bit ashamed, but hey I've gotten hundreds of hours of enjoyment for it.
