And what was my prize?

A stinking dumpster, well it gives me something to throw the rubbish from this game in to

Next time EA just kick me in the rear rather than building my hopes up and save me the emotional trauma.

LOL?!

But, at least it is a premium dumpster ... the only one of those I have in my SF was obtained in exactly the same way as yours.

Keep trying though! When it does work out brilliantly it makes all the hedges, fences, gazebos, and newspaper dispensers worth it!! I once got Squeaky Voiced Teen out of a Homer Buddha I'd gotten from a mystery box. Odds of that combo I worked out to be 6/100 chance!!

Indeed. I've got both the SVT and Moleman from Mystery Box combos. Very nice.

Well at least you've had the excitment of opening a Homer Buddha. Obviously Tapped Out does not respect the spiritual plane of kharma

Some people have been saying on here for a long time that the Homer Buddha is just as much of a rip off as the Mystery Box is - once you have the better prizes you tend to get rubbish (except for donuts - Mystery Box usually gives 30 donuts, not sure what donuts the HB gives). Both the Mystery Box and the Homer Buddha need something done to refresh them somehow, different prizes or something, i dunno. Just something to update them somehow :D

I learned to stay away from those! Also reminds me of the Easter deal, getting ponds and egg piles instead of buildings or characters!

An update with the prizes would be great

I can't remember the last time a got a good prize. Even one with a bonus attached. Probably was 3 white fences. And 6 months of every day play, and no SVT.

I like the refresh idea Dave.

As has been said, it's a premium dumpster, so it's not all bad. I was actually happy last mystery box to get white picket fences...better than another couple of hedges that I usually get, anyway.

I'm quickly coming up on a year.

I'd much rather get a donut or three every week.

I'm sorry I laughed when I saw this but I guess that's the game eh? Hope you get something worth while soon; Donuts or another Homer Buddha so you can get a premium building & character (if you haven't already)
