For those asking to extend the Stonecutters event. STOP. Read why

Prev134
Before someone complains about the length of tasks there are many on the board whose real life obligations got in the way of their gameplay preventing them from getting all of Number 1's tasks done, but that still didn't stop them from reaching the final prize.

I played while on vacation to "keep up".... I was about a week ahead of the daily emblem chart at the time still. I just wanted to make sure I had gotten everything before time ran out. I got everything last week

While I agree that it's very possible to finish the event completely, you have to understand that some people not only have jobs, but also their own families, may need to work more than one job, they can have social lives off the grid. Not everyone has the time like I happen to have this past month to complete it.

    A friendly reminder. :)

^This. I hear where you're coming from, and I agree that completing the event was manageable, but yikes. The idea that someone should feel obligated to ALTER THEIR SLEEP SCHEDULE or plan their life around a game is a bit much. That's just not a luxury that everyone has.

I have a feeder town that I don't have neighbors for aside from my other 2 towns. I'm just short of getting Satan's Anvil. I missed a couple of number 1's 400 emblem tasks along the way. Another day or two and I'd finish.

It's not unreasonable for people to need a little extension.

Wow, just made this last No.1 task
Yes many people with a 100 'friends' have done it no problem, but many people like myself prefer the satisfaction of self achievement and a few real friends.
If like the Easter event, it will probably over run a day or two anyway.

It literally take 2-3 MINUTES of a persons time to do what needed to be done. If they can't allot that amount of time to the event, how do they take the time to come on this forum, type a post, and reply MULTIPLE times?

I'm at 65k and visited 40 friends total throughout the entire event, and missed the 400 token task just about every time. I'm sick of the event and can't wait for the update

Life and real world commitments should be more important than this game. People that have busy schedules or responsibilities should realise that they won't always be able to complete events. Events are given durations which imo are more than enough to acquire all the items. Either accept this or find another game that doesn't require so much time dedication.

as you can PLAINLY see, there is no reason other than laziness that anyone could not have completed the prizes. I personally finished with 14 days left

"Look at me, I'm better than you, and you are lazy" Sheesh...

People don't always have a device on them to be able to come on. Especially when some of those "2-3 minutes" are while someone is sleeping? Do you expect people to wake up during the night just to play? Should they set an alarm to wake up and then wake up their partner as well? Or their children. I had to study for exams and do my exams. I can't check my town during an exam. If I was studying, I would forget because I had more important things to do. There are plenty of reasons why people couldn't finish this event. There are plenty of reasons why some people passed it really quickly.

It's possible for anyone to finish unless they literally started this week or so, then it's understandable or some other instance (Hospitalized, No internet access, etc...)

I started a week late due to a vacation I was in with my fam. Also even with work, wife, 10 month old & other commitments & responsibilities, I was able to finish with about a week left or so. Didn't think I would make it at first, but I did. I even played my other games (GTA 5, Call of Duty, etc...)

I understand people wanting for an extension, but extensions in the past have only delayed other updates from happening. And considering July 4th is nearing, it's highly unlikely an extension will occur.

That would be my situation. I just want this event to end since I've been playing for such a short while that I don't have many characters and buildings, so some of the stonecutter tasks are simply impossible for me to do. The whole thing is just getting in the way of my character and town building.

I finished yesterday but it was close to the deadline. I have an evening job and am unable to use my phone while at work. Many times, despite keeping up with my tasks all day, I would miss collecting the 400 emblem prize because I was working past midnight. Not sure why we need to make attacks about peoples' work ethics/laziness based on a mobile game.

    *calculations*
    1) Not all Stonecutter Skins are "free".

    2) "The Order" people (allegedly, according to the code) appear 1 per hr, and pay out 4 tokens. (Although I seem to sometimes get 'em more frequently.)

    3) Chest may give 20 per 8hrs, but you never get a chance to get 3 sets EVERY day. Maybe 5 over a 2 day period if you're consistent. There'll be (many) days when you only get 2.
Also, the free chest prize is awarded after a few days of tapping (6,500 tokens).

    4) Quest Lines:
    *"Game of Stones" = 1,000
*"Secret of the Cut Stone" = 900
    *Prize Quests = 1,200
    *Miscellaneous Quests = 300
    TOTAL = 3,400

    5) You're missing friend visits - 60 (or more if you tap Stonecutter HQs) per day for the first 20 towns/60 taps.

Also, not everyone can get all tasks done. Being ahead of the dateline, mine's been a breeze - tasks reset at 10am so as long as I get 3 sets done within 12-14hrs, the last one can complete overnight and I collect in the morning. But not everyone is so lucky...

Amen!!! Add to the fact that my game wants to stop working half the time, slow down/freeze, or when I visit friends give me money/xp/fp but no emblems.

Whatever.....as much as I enjoy the game, I am finding myself caring about it less and less. I actually am enjoy the family guy game soo much more. No bugs or issues and it's actually funny. It might take longer to do things but they don't cram a crap load of high priced items in the game. Just my opinion.

Ok well first of all I could not clear this event and heres why. I had finals and I was studying a lot. I still managed to play daily but not as much as I normally would. But hey I managed to pass all my finials so no summer school for me :D but either way here's what I dont get. Why would you want this event to end? I mean does it affect you in any way? Its not going to push back any updates. No one is making you tap on emblems. Plus if you did you still get doughnuts for it. I mean like really just because you cleared it doesn't mean you have to hate on us who did not have time to finish it.If this event was any other time I would of cleared it and guess what I would want it extended for people who could not clear it. So ya in my opinion we should all want this event extended because it only helps players and does not hurt them at all.
