The only good news (silver lining?) is that you should be able to earn A TON of money for visiting your friends... so long as you can either replace your current friends with 100 people who have spent some serious cash on this game, or convince your current neighbors to cash in some saving bonds!

I found that the towns with the most premium content seemed to be worth a $5 increase with each tap. So in theory, the first is worth $22 and the 300th is worth $1517. You could then tap three items in "other Springfield" at $1517 each. So your grand total, in theory, could be as high as $235k per day.

    Thank you kindly. :)

Do we have a clear definition of "a lot" of premium content? Like 4-5 premium buildings, or more than that? Premium characters count too, I assume?

Or as long as you tap the towns with the most premium items first, then the bonuses carry over to the non-premium towns. But trying to figure out and remember which towns have the most premium content would be a chore. But like collecting coins you don't have to do it forever to get enough cash or coins for what you need.

Not yet... I'm going to work on that this evening when I visit the rest of my neighbors. The ones that earned +$5 per tap seemed to have everything. The one that earned +$2 had a few big items (Aztec, Lard Lad, Otto's bus), but not everything.

If the rumors are true then when the event is over with and the next update comes the Bowlarama, the Mapple Store, and the Try 'n Save will be considered premium content and those of us with no donut items will be able to trigger that bonus. But yeah, now that people know this they're only going to want players with premium stuff and will be booting those who don't have them thus making harder for those of us too poor to buy a Lard Lad to get the good bonuses because all we'd be left with is the Other Springfield.

Thank you for doing this. You have brought this forum great information about the friend collection system. :)

dcline414 - You are friends with me (Catgun300) I have all the premium characters with the exception of Duffman, Hank Scorpio, Witch Marge and Santa Homer. I've spent $60 on premium items, so it may be a good test.

    Keep us posted. :)

Chibihalo; All of us poor people will just have to unite, I suppose. I think there are enough of us out there to get everyone to however many friends they please. I'm not too concerned with the bonus. Either I get it or I don't. I have a little bit of premium content, but I'm sure not enough to keep myself from getting the boot. Oh well.

I don't know how true this is. I went through 80 friends this morning. One after the other. I gained about 35-40K total. The math is off here.

dcline414 already provided the link to my post http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9164472.page

You can read it in detail there but I collected a total of 61718$ with 91 friends. You do have to collect only one building per town per visit. So not three buildings at once in a town.

It's worth noting that there appears to be no benefit to exiting and reentering the towns of friends with NO premium content, as they do not increase your payout when you enter and tap a building.

If your friend list is relatively stable, it would probably be worth jotting down payouts as you visit friends one time (that's how I discovered that what building you tap and your friends' level/star rating don't matter). Without deleting/replacing friends you'll be able to increase your payout just by changing the order you visit your friends.

For example, if you have 10 friends maxxed out with premium stuff then you could tap one item in each of their towns one time, then go back for a second and then a third tap for each. That (I believe) would give you $22 for the 1st tap and $167 for the 30th. You could then visit your other 90 friends and other springfield and tap all three items in each town in one visit, getting at least $167 for each tap. That would net you over $48k without having to exit/reenter 90% of your friends' towns or change any of your friends.

    Play smarter, not harder! :)

So let me get this straight - I have basically all the premium buildings and characters...so this means my town is worth more when my friends visit it?

    Me gusto.

I'll be able to visit you again tomorrow morning, and I'll let you know what kind of bonus I get. It's a shame you can't really tell how much you are helping your neighbors though.

After visiting about 30 more friends, taking detailed notes of all (visible) premium characters, buildings, and decorations, I am starting to lean toward the bonus simply being the friend's bonus (star rating plus all premium item bonuses), with your own bonus added on top. It is really tricky to figure out the details though, as fractional bonuses from friends with little premium content (i.e. a few burning bushes) still carries over in the running total.
