    Are you sure about this??

I get $1 more every run. So if it was say $25 to start off with, next one gave $26, next $27, etc.

Everyone has some premium content, and they round up.

Remember the hammock purchased in the intro to the game?

So since I have every premium item in the game my town is more valuable than the freeloaders town? Dont wory the active freeloaders are safe on my list

You can read it in detail there but I collected a total of 61718$ with 91 friends. You do have to collect only one building per town per visit. So not three buildings at once in a town.
It's worth noting that there appears to be no benefit to exiting and reentering the towns of friends with NO premium content, as they do not increase your payout when you enter and tap a building.

If your friend list is relatively stable, it would probably be worth jotting down payouts as you visit friends one time (that's how I discovered that what building you tap and your friends' level/star rating don't matter). Without deleting/replacing friends you'll be able to increase your payout just by changing the order you visit your friends.

For example, if you have 10 friends maxxed out with premium stuff then you could tap one item in each of their towns one time, then go back for a second and then a third tap for each. That (I believe) would give you $22 for the 1st tap and $167 for the 30th. You could then visit your other 90 friends and other springfield and tap all three items in each town in one visit, getting at least $167 for each tap. That would net you over $48k without having to exit/reenter 90% of your friends' towns or change any of your friends.

    Play smarter, not harder! :)

I'm impressed by your dedication and calculations :-o (I'm hopeless at maths). Thanks for sharing!

It is kind of shocking how much stuff some people have. Especially those who have all of the major items plus dozens of benches, green dumpsters, white picket fencing, etc.

Equally shocking is how some of the nicest towns owners have spent absolutely nothing at all on the game.

Well i own all premium content (yes i know thats alot of £'s spent) the one item i am missing is witch marge, the rest i own. Does premuim items extend to town decoration aswell or just character/building premium items?
Feel free to add me to test this theory: Aarann

Today, I played smarter. Looked through all Springfields. Found 35 friends with more than 3 premium items, 10 with one or two, and the rest with none. I started collecting one by one from the premium friends, and by the end of those thirty friends my collecting was at 358$ / building. Then I visited the 10 "hey I got something Premium" ones, and it got me to 377$ / building. Not so much increase there. I then started visiting the rest, 3 houses per visit. There was still a little bit increase (ended at 395$ with the last building). Yesterday I ended at 416$, but my total was 62K. Today I took a whopping 60K from my premium-free friends alone. I made the mistake not to write down the exact amount when I started, but some simple math (50x3x377= 56550) shows it pays of to collect from your bestest (Ralph talking here) friends first.

This is a pretty interesting way of doing friend collections. I wonder, do you think the percent increase is proportional to the percent bonus that neighbor has in their town due to premium items?

Edit; And I'd play smarter today to let you know how my payout works out, but I don't have enough time due to work so I have to do my visits in shifts. :( I will have time tomorrow though. I'll let you know how it goes for me.

Great thread, thanks for all the hard work and calculations.

Would be great if we could sort our friends into an order we wanted to visit them rather than the alphabetical order they are currently in!

Just one thing I don't quite get, it is mentioned not to vist the "other Springfield" first, from what has been said I would have thought it would be a good place to start as it has all of the premium items that were included up to lvl 20 when EA stopped doing anything with it?

It seems that other springfields's premium items don't count toward the bonus.

Long term I suspect friend cherry picking will be inevitable. Meanwhile if you know where your premium friends are, you bounce back and forth between them until there tasks are used up. At that point forward you wouldn't be getting any further increases so you could scoop up the rest of your neighbors money 3 at a time like usual! Got 'em!

    I get a $3 - $4 increase every time I visit you.

What is your total payout bonus from all your premium items? It seems like it should be a little over 20% if my math is correct.

Yes. It seems like the base payout is $15, but it is multiplied by your running total bonus. The running total is your friends' premium item bonus, but not conform-o-meter (I think). This payout is then multiplied by your personal bonus total (including premium items and conformity) and rounded up.

So if my first friend has a 1% bonus from premium items, I get $15 x 1.01 x 1.12 (my personal bonus) = $17 (rounds up)

    The next friend has a lot of premium items, so their multiplier is 24%. I get $15 x 1.25 (total of 1st + 2nd friends' bonuses combined) x 1.12 = $21. ($4 increase)

    When I go back to the first friend, my payout will be $15 x 1.26 x 1.12 = $22 ($1 increase)

    The next payout at the second friend's town is $15 x 1.50 x 1.12 = $26 ($4 increase)

    Then finally at the first friend I get $15 x 1.51 x 1.12 = $26 (no increase)

    And finally at my second friend I get $15 x 1.75 x 1.12 = $30 ($4 increase)

    nice work dcline414

I started doing a spreadsheet yesterday (boring i know) but couldn't work out how the increases work.

I have all the premiums but not the springfield mountain not enough space and because i haven't finished the Krabappel task storyline it seems to be going forever.

At least now i feel like i didnt just spend $50+ just on myself :P

I just went to a Springfield that took me from $25ish to $75+ just by bouncing back and forth!
I may have bounced to another Springfield that increased me somewhat so I will confirm the exact numbers tomorrow.
This particular Springfield is LOADED with premium items (multiple lard lads, one of everything At least, and I saw a few news vans etc.)
I don't want to post their screen name for fear of them getting bombarded with requests.
Anyone else come across one of these gold mine neighbors?!

This is the nerdiest thread ever... I love it!

I started crying when I realised I was going to lose all my friends.

But then I saw the 20 new "add me" threads started today.

fspj <--- will spend real money after 1 solid month with no crashes or server issues. Damm you, Principles!

This is very interesting. You guys have done alot of work on this - I'm impressed. I'll put my hand up as a guinea pig friend as I have every premium item available (way too much invested in this) and my personal bonus seems to be up around the 45% mark. It would be good to know if that is available to those who visit and if it only applies to the premium items or everything. I can try to take note of the amounts that come from handshakes.

 I just went back over the posts and realised there was one I missed that addressed this but I'm still willing to add some people for research purposes. :-)

Just to confirm I went back to my "gold mine house"

    Started at $20
    First visit $41
    Second visit $62
    Third visit $83

They have EVERY premium it and then some a fleet of news vans parked by channel 6 today! Lol

I'm sure this has been mentioned but if you REALLY have a lot of time to kill and your game NEVER CRASHES, you can make a killing this way:

Collect one house from each neighbor. The next day start this process collect the remaking houses. If you time it right the tasks will start over and you can collect 3 houses from every friend you've just collected 2 houses from. So in stead of the money that adds up over 300 houses you get the money from 500 houses!

I got lazy yesterday and stopped collecting halfway through my friends and was shocked to see the timer had been running ever since I collected the first house.

That is a great point... I had noticed that the first tap resets the clock, but hadn't thought the implications of this all the way through yet. That would (potentially) be an AMAZING amount of income!
