    BREAKING NEWS:

To start out at $1000 or so a tap, you would need to visit a premium item having neighbor AT LEAST 250 times before you start tapping for money. I was up to 100 times and my first tap was around $350 or so.

Well, I know what I'm trying tomorrow. It better work!

Good luck. I got severely bored doing it. That's why I stopped at 100. I even began to question my meaning in life.

I found a friend with a lot of premium items including a lot of useless bench with pants and green dumpsters plus everything else like buildings, characters, and Springfield sign. I entered and exit their town 10 times and then tapped a building and it increased $60 every 10 visits. So I watch tv while entering and exiting their town and when the show was over thats when I started going through all the nieghbours. I don't just sit there and stare at the ipad screen cause that would get boring really fast

I was tapping at $1100 today and there's no way I did it 250 times. Unless I just wildly lost count, but I really don't think so.

I managed to get up to $2050 per house at the end and I accumulated a grand total of over $320,000.

I simply started by choosing a Springfield with a lot of premium items; one that was stable and not prone to crashing my phone. I left and returned about 50 times before I went and visited a couple of other Springfields. After visiting those towns I went back to the first Springfield I had visited and left and exited another 50 or so times and visited a few more different Springfields. This way, if my game crashed I wasn't going to lose my effort in its entirety. As I increased the value I was making per house I reduced the number of visits I made to that first Springfield.

Strangely, even if you tap out the town you are using to prime your return the value still continues to climb. I actually tapped out the premium Springfield I was using well before finishing the rounds between my friends.

It took me around 75-80 times entering the same town to get to $500 per tap.

I managed to visit about 20 towns after that, tapping 3-4 items in each town. Then I went for the six-tap holy grail and crashed. In this case it would seem Gordon Gekko was wrong about greed being good... :(

    Quite you!

    Anyways...

I tried it again today. All I can say is... GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!!!!! Tested myself and I averaged 8 visits per minute to one town with premium items. But let's go with 7 taps per minute. I did this for one hour. So I did 420 (heehee) taps to the town. Then proceeded with my collecting rampage. I started out with $44,595, by the end of it all I had $569,259. So I made $524,664!

I rescind my comment earlier calling this ****. I humbly apologize!

According to my game, I have around 5 1/2 hours til it's time to collect. I wonder, just maybe, if I start now, I could break the $1,000,000 barrier? Hahaha.

Good luck! I lost all interest after 1/2hr and kept checking the clock every two seconds to see when it would be over with!

This is getting ridiculous. Not only do I have around 50 unanswered requests, but I received 111 new ones today. I'm assuming it was because I posted on an Add Me thread in the other forum topic.

Boo hoo! So did I but I only get the occasional request. Just wish the regulars on here would add me... We seem to get along well. I think!

So is anyone else thinking that this is not how the developers intended for the bonus to work? If my premium item bonus extended to visitors of my town (but only while in my town), that would make sense. The fact that the bonus continues to compile as you visit more and more towns (up to infinity?) seems like a glitch to me. How long do you think we'll be able to rake in the cash?

[Poll] Is the new premium item bonus working as intended when visiting friends?

I hope they don't get rid of it just yet. I need more money to fuel my upcoming renovation of my Springfield.

Well considering that it took around 6 months just to get the premium item bonus working at all, I'm not too worried that a fix will come quickly!
