Unvisitable friend

His town is probably broken. He may not be able to enter it either. Open the game. Tap the Milhouse/Bart button. Once that's finished, tap the same button again. Scroll down the list until you find his name. Next to the name will be a button that lets you hide his town. That way you can go through all of your other visits easier.

If you scroll back down to his name again, you can tap it to see when the last time he played. You can also unfriend him from there. You can either keep his town hidden and check back on it from time to time or dump it.

Had a similar issue yesterday, except mine was the game was forced closed. After the fourth time not being able to access, I went to his Krustyland and was able to get tickets and XP. Will see what happens today.

Yes, I'm doing the same. I know who is before him and I go directly to his Krustyland.
