Yeah I asked a similar question in another thread earlier and a bunch of people suggested the training walls. I'm going to buy a bunch and hide them behind some buildings.

Thank you both for the fast response. I'll get on that now.

I'm kind of dumb founded with this. It states to "keep criminals, and graffiti off the streets" don't have any graffiti on my buildings and I only have a half of a star for that category which is super annoying. Any suggestions on how to raise my rating?
I'm no expert, but all i do is clean off any graffiti neighbors leave and catching sideshow bob when hes spotted.

well you can have 5 stars then all of a sudden it drops to half a star and i don't think anyone really knows why.
when its at half a star buy as many training walls as it takes to bring you back up to 5 stars and then you wont ever have it drop again.

Yeah my issue is that it'll drop more than half a star and I have no idea why. Yesterday or the day before (can't remember) it dropped from 5 stars to 1.5 stars in about 5 minutes. It was a massive drop and hit my bonus percentage by I think like 1%...was a bit frustrating.

The training wall idea will really help. Does anyone have any suggestions about how many training walls we should have?

So since we're talking about increasing righteousness I guess this would be good to ask...I'm trying to increase my conform-o-meter to 5 stars. Everything is pretty much there besides indolence, and consumerism which I do know how to increase. What would you guys suggest is the best bang for your buck in this situation. I am a newly premium player, so I can get some premium items if needed. I currently only have 1 of each house / building. I've heard buying KEM helps increase your consumerism. Thoughts?

I've been told training walls, which are fairly cheap (still a tad annoying to buy something to hide it. I've also been told to keep Snake in prison. But mine will be five stars, and suddenly, it will be three.

    Google this

    law-abiding-tappers-maximizing-your-conform-o-meter-righteousness-rating

and choose the link to the addicts site. There you will find a bunch of information about righteousness, including what they think Bob does.

Training walls are the cheapest solution once you can get them. They give you 10 points toward righteousness.
Each level requires an increasing amount of points to get 5 stars.

Prior to being able to buy training walls, if Other Springfield has a SQP, then you can keep going in there over and over and tap Bob. He'll be down by the SQP entrance most of the time. It's a tedious method, but that's how I raised my righteousness to 5 stars before I could buy the training walls.

I don't know if the info is on the forum. Google the-s-files-technical-details, and go to tstotopix page. Lots of good info on conform-o-meter.

    Nice post!

I broke down and bought enough KEMs to get 5 stars. I made them into a shopping strip mall and pretend they are different stores.

There are a few reason why it drops:

    • Sideshow Bob is spotted
    • Characters are sent on immoral tasks
    • Graffitti in your town
    • You Graffittied your friends town and it wont go up til they clean it

    Hope this helps

i am totally freemium, and have 5 stars in righteousness with excatly 1(!) training wall (cause a quest required it). Otherwise i just clean up graffiti as fast as possible and catch sideshow bob wherever i find him. Worked so far for me - and i am level 38.

I also cleaned up graffiti and caught Sideshow Bob a lot. Dropped to one star every time I leveled up. Got sick of it. Bought lots of training walls. It never dropped again.
(Aside: being freemium doesn't enter into righteousness at all. Training walls are in-game cash.)
