Yard sale SUCKS!

I completely missed out on the Mayan stuff before. If I wanted it badly, I'd get it. I don't care what was free before. I've played long enough that I have lots of stuff for free that people have to pay for now. That's the nature of the game, and no one is forcing me to play it.

Can't wait to buy the 120D Cool Brown House and put it next to my 250D Gold Mansion.

Well the title says it all...

First off everything on it is overpriced! What the hell!? Half of the stuff on there were free for god sakes! :?:

Also I knew they were money hungry but this!? Really? They didn't even bother to hide it this time. How could you not add at least one or two "free" things? At least last years yard sale they gave some things for in game cash (even-though most of free stuff sucked.) Now they just completely said F it!

I can't say I'm shocked at this, but it kinda sucks that they are still doing crap like this! :?

...if you're gonna complain about me complaining please don't. I can already see some of you getting ready to type up some smart A** response....

I'm always friendly against my neighborinos, i purchase the stuff BUT you are 100% correct about its all overpriced

    I agree 200%

Totally overpriced, I agree! This yard sale is just another kick in the bollox to players.

Rip off, rip off, rip off!

I took one look at the yard sale......then set my characters on 24hr tasks (never gone to more than 8hrs EVER before) and logged out. Will I log in again? Genuinely not sure if I'll bother.

Must say i'm disappointed as well, i was really looking forward to see some new items that at least one or two of them will be in game cash charged but instead we got returning stuff that's really overpriced, but what can you do? i just won't buy any of them (although i really want the CBH and the Mr. Sparkle billboard).
but i will keep waiting and saving my hard-saved donuts for some worth worthy items...

It's not about the. Charging donuts, it's about them ONLY charging donuts which is upsetting. Of course they are gonna charge premium for limited time things, but overcharging is wrong, and so is going all premium on an update.

Also many of the older players already have most of the things on there so why not offer something new and unique to accompany the old?

This yard sale is a very odd one IMO.

Totally agree with you. When I first got on and saw they had a sale on I got so excited! And when I saw the cool brown house, I got even more excited! But after seeing the price of it and the prices of all the rest of the things...sadly the excitement turned into bitter disappointment :( Although for the cool brown house I may just have to...give in..

I too am surprised nothing was offered for in game cash. We save up millions and never have anything decent to spend it on (not everyone wants a Popsicle skyscraper, etc) so it would have made a change.

I bought Mayan Marge, I already had the god and Homer. And bare chested willie because he's a favourite character so I wanted another skin.

Definitely agree on the fact that everything is for donuts and I'm definitely thinking you may get a few posts of people calling you josh

Eh, I get where you're coming from.

As a completionist who had everything but the Mayan Marge costume, only getting one new item is a bit disappointing. Would've been nice to have at least 2-3 new items in addition to the other stuff they re-released.

Still, it's good for new players or those who missed out on the stuff when it was originally released.

I do agree having everything cost donuts is a bit overboard. One or two items for in game cash would've been preferable.

Still, at least we can finally buy Mayan Marge (something that's been in the game files for almost two years). Plus new quest opens if you have all 3 Mayan characters (Mayan Homer, Mayan Marge, Mayan God), so that's a plus.

Kind of wish they would offer the Easter decos for in game cash. Having to make due with what I got randomly has been just one of the many irritating things about that event.
(Also, if they offered them for cash, maybe they'd enable selling them, so people could get rid of what they don't want.)

Mayan Marge was never released. Originally the Halloween 2012 event had Mayan God, Mayan Homer, Mayan Circle, etc. Mayan Marge was in the game files but never officially released in the game. They finally reased her in the Yard Sale. In that sense she's the only new feature of the Yard Sale.

That's an excellent idea! I would've bought some stuff and I'm sure many others would've too!

Yeah, Bobbins and Sean were the only two things I wanted from Easter and got NEITHER.

I don't have the donuts for Father Sean as I bought Frink last night and only have 7 left. :(

The concerns are well warranted, but having began Dec.'13 & missed most of what is offered couldn't resist the CBH & UltraHouse...

Probably getting ice god & maybe a couple other things after some further analysis / meditation on self control  ...

The price complaints have some sincere merit but Homer did intro the whole shebang noting that he was aiming to get as much as he can for this stuff
... not aiming to justify it all & I do indeed advise solid discretionary spending :!:

    Agreed 100% AJ

A great opportunity for EA to get some money off of me and yet again their pricing has alienated me to the point of saying that's it, definately not playing as a premium player anymore.

Nice move EA, nice, congrats, you've successfully alienated me enough with your pricing to stop me spending money on your game, and i spent a lot

If i could be bothered i'd give you the sarcastic clap clap gif, but you don't even deserve that

I found the dialogue funny actually. I guess they thought by making a joke about it, it would make the issue seem less serious. I can't say I blame them for tryin but that's a desperate move to pull to make a few more bucks.

Regardless of that, it did make me laugh
