Probably as for how long from now not sure could be anytime like for example Macronis shed was released during the season finale tie in and then came back during the stonecutters event
I'm totally guessing, but maybe when the next Gil offer comes along? I could totally see them offering it as a package with the rocket car and Lampwick, plus some other random unrelated but widely desired item.

That's what I was gonna say. But honestly, i wouldnt be interested unless they had a DRASTIC price drop or bundled it with a literal tonne of other premium stuff (the rocket car, the the itchy and scratchy billboard, the itchy and scratchy mascots for Krustyland as a minimum).

it was ridiculously overpriced but i bet lots of people bought it because it was only in the store for such a short time

That was certainly why I bought it! I had been wanting certain standout buildings like Nighthawk Diner and Mapple Store and Cool Brown House for months, and my reaction to the gold mansion was that TO ME it was neat looking and too unusual to pass up. Plus I could afford to spend the money. And the limited time aspect had A LOT to do with my decision. Then along came Nighthawk and Cool Brown House. Happiness.

I don't know if they'll ever re-release this one. It was used to help establish higher premium prices in game and I'm not sure how many people, who actually pay for their donuts, bought it. Although it doesn't cost EA anything to re-release it. I think they would still need some signs of demand before they do.
Going on EAs past form, I think it will be released again but not for a long time. At least a year. I don't think it will get any cheaper either. If anything it will cost more.
I thought the price was absurdly high and I can't believe people actually bought it. Assuming those who have it didn't hack or something to get the donuts. Heck even more broadly than that; I can't believe anyone would buy all the premium stuff currently available not counting the currently not available limited time stuff. At 7,797 donuts for just one of everything that is almost $350. Doubtful free donuts would cover that at least not unless you play the game for like 10 years. Anyway that's the long version of I think premium prices were already too high.

We've had some good opportunities to earn free donuts over the past year or so. Most of the donuts I've spent were earned during events or presents from EA. Plus if you are willing to do the daily friend visits consistently you will earn a few each week. It's not all about spending real money, just time and effort.
I love the Gold Mansion, it matches very well with the Money Pool and the Golden Calf Idol, and I build a nice compound with Easter fences around them.

Agreed. I got the gold mansion. i really like the look of it too.

X2
I didn't buy it, but I do think it looks nice. If I ever buy a 250 donut item though, it will be the Bowl-a-Rama with Barney.
