Level 43 Bug on Princess Quest

I placed two different balloons (Scratchy and Poochie) and it worked. Did you maybe place two of the same balloons?

I placed the Scratchy before quest started, then placed Poochie. The first one didn't show up in the count. Tried putting them both in inventory and taking them both out. Now neither are showing in the task window!! Help!!

My guess is that you'll have to buy two new ones. It generally won't count anything old. By putting the new one in storage, you probably converted it to an old one.

I have the very same problem! I've tried to buy new balloons, but that didn't work. Tried to store the ferris wheel and then buy new balloons - still didn't work. SO now i have loads of balloons but no quest that updates!

Anybody that can help?

I bought new Scratchy balloon and it didn't work. Bought two Poochie balloons and that finally did! I've got lots of balloons! Worst part is just before the update I traded in 30,000 tickets for game cash! Took me 12 hrs and visiting 99 friends Krustylands to get Wheel!

Did you buy two different balloons? Try selling all of your balloons. Buy two different balloons immediately together.

I'm having the same problem as OP. I bought a Scratchy balloon and a Poochie balloon and it only recognised one balloon. When I tried to place them in inventory ( a sometimes fix for other issues), it recognised no balloons. Meh.. not wanting to sell and buy new balloons right away, as trying to get enough tickets to build Krusty's Giant Wheel (just traded in all my KL tickets for SF money the night before the update DOH!), so if that's the only fix, then I have to wait until I've started the build of the ferris wheel first.
Just getting annoyed at this bug, as there have been so many bugs lately. Still not getting friend's handshakes (except for the rare instance) and still getting the retry screen every time I log in. EA has a lot of bugs to fix .. if they ever fix them

I had no problems with the balloons but ran into similar issue on Princess and The Pea-Brain Part 3. Required to plant 10 flowers. Already had 10 in the park, but no auto-complete. Put them in inventory and replaced them, the yellow finger pointed at the quest indicating the number had changed but still 0/10.

Deleted all flowers in the park, and bought new and different ones from scratch. Same yellow finger. Still 0/10. Flower text is also colored yellow in the inventory/purchase screen so I know I'm using the right ones.

I tried immediatly trying to sell the balloons that wouldn't count, and I got the "you can't sell this hoarder!" window. Finally back on track, but well behind schedule.

Just tried immediately selling the flowers after reading the above. It worked. Started counting the flowers. For some reason that unclogs it I guess? I dunno. It worked though

Still no luck. Can't sell the balloons I've bought. And even though I buy new ones they are not recognized and I can't get through the first part of the quest line.
Which of course makes my other quest line stuck and none of the new characters can come over to KL

Argh!!
Having the same problem with the balloons. Bought 2 new balloons, but it won't recognise them, still shows 0/2 balloons, so not wanting to buy anymore, as we can't sell them and I don't want to collect anymore damn balloons!
I'm not up to the first part of the quest as my Ferris Wheel won't be ready for many hours yet, but I'm suspecting I'm going to have the same issue

Did you place the balloons in Krustyland? Just buying them is not enough.

Has anyone heard from them on this. I have the same issue. I now have 8 balloons that I cannot sell and an unfinished task.

Well...frankly this sucks. I have the problem and I've tried several things...

*selling the balloons...won't let you.
*put them into storage and tried pulling them out and placing them...still shows 0/2.
*tried buying new balloons and placing them...still shows 0/2.

I am now up to six balloons with no end in sight. I completed the ferris wheel...thought that would help...ah....NO.

And I am not buying another dumb balloon. EA...Fix this.

I had that problem with Princess Penolope task 1 (the princess and the pea-brain pt.1) place balloons 0/2, and build krysty giant wheel.
I have built Krysty giant wheel, and I have 3 balloons of each itchy,poochie parade and scratchy, but I still can get the task completed, it still said 0/2 in place balloons..
I just bought them, in krystyland (decorations) . 3 of scratchy balloons for 1250 each, 3 of poochie parade balloons 1000 each and 3 of itchy balloons for 30 donuts each.
I also store them and replace, but nothing help..
I also stop the game and reinstall the game, but nothing help..
that is annoying, I have tryed EVERYTHING...store Giant wheel and Princess Penolope in inventory, store balloons in inventory..and also buy new balloons again..but nothing help.
I click KL task icon and buying them, and also buy them in decoration
And I have raised a ticket with EA, just wait and see what will happen

I have the same problem.

It actually went to 1/2 at one point, then back to 0/2.

I'm still stuck with this bug. 0/2 Balloons and no way of getting them out of the way. If you've had luck...please share how you got around this bug. Thanks.

Same here guys, tried everything 3 times over. Stopped visiting KL for now cos it's winding me up! Lol. :hunf: :thumbdown:
